Overall, this game left me in shambles as I would feel a sense of extreme dread as I made progress throughout each world as I never fully knew what reaction any of my decisions could cause. However, it gave me a sense of relief and wonder when I would solve the puzzle given to me and continue forward to see what challenges awaited me next.

It’s survival horror, but it’s not scary. It’s a puzzle game, but those are not so challenging either. And still, everything fits perfectly. Infernium causes addiction with its difficulty, causes frustration with its graphics, causes anguish with its sound quality and wonders us with its design.

Its rare that I dislike a game so much that I cant be bothered to complete it before I review it, but this is one of those times.
Take my review with a grain of salt if you must.
but this game is just awful
basically you absorb energy from orbs that can be used to unlock gates.. there are gates with different symbols so you need to run around this world collecting new tattoos.. and by run I mean very slowly walk a,d very slowly dash which saves you 0 time so is only useful for hopping gaps…
however the dash mechanic here feels lazily placed as the game will give an indicator that you can dash further than you actually can… just ultimately making the gameplay and dash copping feel frustrating..
youre not alone in the old dashing wizard simulator though..
there are hooded figures around that make for some admittedly terrifying moments…
if this was just the game then there would be something halfway good here.. but its not..
if these hooded figures catch you youre sent into some limbo… however I could not figure out how to escape this place so being caught was essentially a game over…
I would just restart with a new game completely…
and after getting decently deep into the game , getting caught again and giving the limbo one more chance for me to figure out and escape… I couldn’t.. I was done.
this game lacks polish and direction.
view it as a permadeath game and these something here…
view it as what it actually is though and its just a frustrating infuriating confusing mess.
    I give infernium
    a 3.5/10

Because the robed thingy looked cool... Why won't I play it? Because the robed thingy was a trap so I'd buy this worthless mess. This is more boring than counting the wax droplets fall from a 10 foot candle. Full Review »
