The constantly CRASHES are unaceptable for a finished product, i wouldn't buy it again. Loading times are huge and the game will just close a lot making the progress gone. Missed opportunity for a fun game...

Really enjoying this re-imagining of the Hungry Shark Mobile game on Console. They've got rid of the grind from the mobile and the in app purchases. now its a straight progression with a really light story that I keep forgetting to read whenever I rescue sharks.
Oh and you have little boss battles to rescue sharks rather than just unlocking them. it's pretty fun.

Terrible Switch port that was never fixed and seemingly abandoned by Ubisoft. My best runs were never recorded by the game because it crashed at the end of them. Every. Single. Time.

The loading time is absolutely abominable—especially for a game the runs much better on my considerably less powerful Android tablet. The core game is wonderful but, if you can play it on another system, you

The loading time is absolutely abominable—especially for a game the runs much better on my considerably less powerful Android tablet. The core game is wonderful but, if you can play it on another system, you should probably do that. As much as it pains me to say it, the Nintendo Switch port is probably a waste of your time and money. It was certainly a waste of mine.

I love this game, I really do, but the glitch where the game will crash for seemingly no reason makes me not able to enjoy it as much. Other than that, good job Ubisoft.

Hungry Shark World is a noticeable step above its mobile ancestor, with improved controls across the board. Sadly, a few technical hiccups and a distinct lack of depth hold it back significantly.

If you find Ecco the Dolphin a bit dull, Hungry Shark World is an ideal antidote – what it lacks in finesse it makes up for with vicious energy. The gated content is doled out a little slowly, but the base gameplay is fast and satisfying, if a little repetitive. However, it's the interminable loading screens that truly destroy the pace and hamper the arcade-style fun, making this one hard to recommend.

Hungry Shark World: Console Edition is much more than a simple port, both technically and in terms of gameplay. Removing in-game purchases and improving the sharks’ control make the experience significantly better. However, although the game is fun, its extreme simplicity can make it repetitive for some players after just a few hours.
