Nov 25, 2019Hexagroove: Tactical DJ is flawed – from one minigame and a lack of guidance. The problem is, that minigame is a big part of truly nailing a set. It’s a scratch in an otherwise very clean, very good record.

Oct 13, 2019Hexagroove: Tactical DJ is a somewhat odd but still enjoyable music experience. While it isn’t a typical music game where you mimic predetermined tunes, it isn’t a music creation tool either. Instead it’s something in between. At first the gameplay might feel both overwhelming and confusing, especially since the tutorial is pretty terrible. But after some practice everything starts to come together – and you will soon be hypnotized by the excellent symbiosis of sound and visuals.
