Gunman Clive is a pair of little but though platformers with run-and-gun elements. Its graphics are clear and charming, and each of the two games that comprise this collection is quite short–but taken together, they add up to a pretty decent-sized two-parts story, where each level introduces its own twists and curveballs to the action.

Somehow, Gunman Clive reminds me of the Donkey Kong Country games: it packs its levels full of inventive tricks, and it's not afraid to frustrate you. The levels are very short, pretty much the size of a single checkpoint in higher-production platformers–but a few of them will strain your persistence. Luckily, the game is varied and fun enough to convince you to push forward, just to see what comes next. Boss battles, in particular, are a huge motivator: most of them are fantastic, with very well-designed enemies that are wildly different from one another.

All in all, Gunman Clive is a brilliant little platformer, only slightly let down by some frustrating sequences. If you're a fan of the genre, it's an easy recommendation.

The graphics are the main reason for me to play the game. And they didn't disapoint me. Sometimes the game is a bit unfair (characters outside your screen). The game is pretty short, but then again the prise is low. Overall the game is ok.

Especially considering its low price, the Gunman Clive games--in beautiful HD--is a delight to play. It is lovely platforming and running/gunning stripped down to beautiful simplicity while still keeping some challenge. Animation is smooth with a unique, lovely art style. Being able to play as other characters is also a delight, although they probably could've done without the firstEspecially considering its low price, the Gunman Clive games--in beautiful HD--is a delight to play. These 2 games are simple and enjoyable, though the final boss in the second game seemed infuriating in structure. The simple graphics are appealing and overall these 2 games are good. But I wouldn't say this is a platformer that demands to be played by anyone but newcomers to the genre.

Despite its short duration, Gunman Clive HD Collection is a very entertaining, friendly and fun title, which together with a very affordable price makes it a very interesting title to consider for all lovers of action games.
