    Artistically speaking it's the best game I've ever played, I never thought a game would test my emotions, a journey I highly recommend to anyone.

    Gris es una experiencia visual basada en la resolución de puzles y con pequeños toques de plataformeo. Si bien es cierto que estos son sencillos, también son bastante originales.

    Sin embargo, lo que hace que este juego sea una obra de arte es su apartado artístico, destacando la belleza de sus mapas y personajes, los cuales están dibujados a mano y son preciosos. En cuanto a la banda    Gris es una experiencia visual basada en la resolución de puzles y con pequeños toques de plataformeo. Si bien es cierto que estos son sencillos, también son bastante originales.

    Sin embargo, lo que hace que este juego sea una obra de arte es su apartado artístico, destacando la belleza de sus mapas y personajes, los cuales están dibujados a mano y son preciosos.

    En cuanto a la banda sonora, esta es excelente y no hay palabras para describir lo que te hace sentir al escucharla, llegando al punto de emocionarme en el gran final que tiene el juego.

    En cuanto a la historia, si bien es cierto que al principio es difícil comprenderla, recomiendo buscar más información porque trata temas que casi ningún juego se atreve a tocar.

    En conclusión, Gris es una obra de arte que debes jugar sí o sí y que tiene una de las mejores bandas sonoras de la historia de los videojuegos. Una clara muestra de que en España también pueden hacerse videojuegos de esta calidad.    … Expand

    What a fun and enjoyable, relaxing experience! This is not a game; this is a masterpiece. It's like you're playing and moving throughout a painting, and the soundtrack merges so well with the art design, which is really beautiful. If I could capture every frame of this game and print it and hang it on my wall, I would do it without any hesitation, and the story of this game is told withoutWhat a fun and enjoyable, relaxing experience!     This is the most beautiful game i have ever played. The music, the watercolour artwork, this is my go to game if im feeling stressed and want to lose myself music and Art for few hours. It so beautifully done. The people that gave it negative reviews unfortunately did not understand how this game was supposed to be.

    The first thing you have to take into consideration with GRIS is that is it not intended to be a game, but an interactive and immersive experience with ludic dynamics. Once you understand this, you will enjoy the time you spend with GRIS. It is beautiful, with several metaphors, more like a piece of art with interactions and fluid puzzles.

    Gris was a game about which I heard great things, but I never had the motivation to dig it out of my backlog. I am very glad I rectified that, because I found another entry to my list of Top Indie Games.

    Gris is one of the best examples I’ve ever seen for “video games can be art.” It is a well-crafted experience that uses all of its faculties—visuals, sound, and storytelling—to evoke an emotional response from the player. Gris is a very short game—I think it took me three or four hours total—and that’s not a bad thing; the game is the perfect length to draw you into its experience, and it ends before it could possibly get boring. Gris can be enjoyed in a short burst for what it is, or it can be perused, analyzed, and inspected for its artistic value and its deeper commentary on aspects of humanity. Because of its brevity, Gris can only be thoroughly un-packed and processed post-game. The more I consider what I played and the impact it had on me, and the more I really think about the very smart, tight design of the game, the higher I rate it.

    I truly believe that Gris was a one-of-a-kind experience for me, because I enjoyed analyzing it as much as I did playing it. 10/10, would highly recommend.    … Expand

    Beautiful. Puzzles aren't too hard, but I like that so I can experience what the devs/artists have created. Relaxing and inspiring for what Switch games can be.

    This game it's amazing when it comes to the artstyle, everything looks beautiful, the colors, the main character, the statue, it's outstanding, the story is great, the music is good, it doesn't hit so hard, but it's welcome, the puzzle however are a little too easy and the game is too short, it lasts for about 6 hours, but if you want a peaceful game, well, this is a go-go

    if i could give -10 it would be now... in this game there is no challenge you only walk straight and jump... and no you can not die... there is no goal... no rules... no purpose... no challenge... is simply boring... it is a waste of money (30 USD) that you could spend in something else (like a real game). i would understand this ""thing"" as a flash online FREE game but (i    ok...

    Edit: i forgot to say that if you want to know the history of the protagonist you have to go on the wiki because there are no dialogues and from the game itself you can't understand the story

    I made an account just to review this game. As someone who is going thru a close loss myself this game is amazing. The soundtrack combined with the clever gameplay and background couldn't be better. I will continue to share this game with others. Everybody should give this game a try.

    A gift for the eyes and for the ears. Incredibly well design levels that make of this gem a short but hugely enjoyable video game and piece of art.

    The ending is literally breathtaking.

    That's literally the only word needed to describe this stunning game. So good I bought it on Switch even though I already own it on Steam.

    This game is incredible, it has to be one of my all time favorites. The story, music and art are all absolutely beautiful. The ending makes me cry every time. The only reason I rate it an 8/10 is because the gameplay can be very confusing at times, especially for those who don't often play games like my mother. You might need to look up walk-throughs of the game to get through it. ButThis game is incredible, it has to be one of my all time favorites. The story, music and art are all absolutely beautiful.     A beautiful game with lovely artwork and music. Simply a nice experience to play through. To me, this is more of an experience, almost a piece of art, than a game. The gameplay and puzzles were good, but not good enough for me to consider this an overall truly great game.

    One of the most beautiful games I've seen graphically and artistically. Its gameplay is entertaining, its music is enveloping and beautiful, and at no time does its splendor stop.

    It has a very detailed art style, which you notice the love they put into this game.

    Not only is it beautiful, but it is also very fun. What a great game. Made by a talented Spanish studio.

    Totally recommended.

    Only worth playing for Conrad Roset's amazing artwork. Plays like an interactive artbook, not really a game. Incredible artwork and music. But the gameplay is too simple and unsatisfying, what there is of it, there is no story, no voice or real sense of progress and it is very short. The controls are literally moving around and jumping. That is it. You are a pretty girl, wandering in aOnly worth playing for Conrad Roset's amazing artwork. Plays like an interactive artbook, not really a game. Incredible artwork and music. But the gameplay is too simple and unsatisfying, what there is of it, there is no story, no voice or real sense of progress and it is very short. The controls are literally moving around and jumping.     The most beautiful game I’ve played, both in art direction, sound design, and storytelling.
    It’s a world you can get lost in, and feel like you could go on forever, and an emotional journey which I can’t describe.
    The gameplay is fun too, and there’s some post-game content to go through.
    Surpassed my expectations,10/10.
    Recommend both to gamers and people interested in art alike.

    Jaw-droppingly beautiful platformer. Anyone who questions whether games can be art needs to experience this. It's emotionally evocative in a way that few games are -- and no less fun. The gameplay is simple yet engaging, filled with gentle surprises every step of the way. The music is as gorgeous as the animation. Love, love, love!

    After reading reviews about this game, I think I expected a lot more. I suffer from depression and anxiety quite a bit and I was looking forward to trying out this game for so long after reading the premise and reviews! But after playing it finally one evening, I found that this game made me feel absolutely nothing. The game looks beautiful, but nothing is keeping me gripped to it beyond that, and I have no emotional investment in this game or the character at all. Sure some of the "puzzles" you have to figure out, but it's not like they were a challenge to begin with, and I understand the whole "not everyone can handle hard games" etc, but this just fell so flat with me, that I'm actually disappointed I used money on this game. Overall, the aesthetic and music are wonderful, but actual game play is boring, even with the "puzzles" you have to figure out.… Expand

    Almost universal admiration for Gris says a lot about the condition of video games industry. It’s just a 2D platformer devoid of any challenge, and instead of evoking true feeling it makes a good first impression (“wow, it’s beautiful!”) and then just glides for a couple of hours using that momentum.     While the story is loose and can leave players feeling a little lost, there are emotional cues that symbolize this as a journey of loss and healing. The excellent soundtrack, level design and commitment to themes make Gris a memorable title for all. With fun, adventurous platforming and puzzles that are both challenging and intuitive, its playstyle keeps things simple by placing player cognition at the forefront. Gris is a true work of indie art that prides itself on attention to details. Fans of works of art and video games will find a relatable home in Gris. Although this is Nomada Studio's first title, it has hit every possible note out of the park.
