A fun little game, in the same vein as Untitled Goose Game (a similar art style too) The “puzzles” are not very difficult, and there is barely enough variety to keep it interesting. There are also some technical issues that are lingering. That being said, there were many times I found myself chuckling at the sheer destruction and damage I caused. Overall, a decent game, but nothing amazing.

Fun and with a quirky spirit and presentation, but tiresome. Very short, but still ends up getting in your nerves for its poor controls.

I wanted to like this game. Nintendo Direct really made it for me: looks fun, interesting design choices, messy and funny. But in the end, the controls feel clumsy (and I understand it's part of the idea, but it also feels that some improvements could be made), the gameplay is repetitive and it doesn't have much to offer past the 2nd or 3rd hour of playing.

    For its price, the game

For its price, the game delivers just so. After playing for a while, I just didn't see myself playing this again. All in all, it's fun but not for long. Switch has a great variety of games and I would rather suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

i was having fun for about 4 hours of the game. then, it starts getting annoying. the only floor i absolutely loved playing was the fourth one, because the levels were interesting and involved lots of destruction, which made it amusing. floor 6 drove me MAD. especially level 604. you have to guide 3 inspectors to each of their positions, and the purple inspector was the one that made mei was having fun for about 4 hours of the game. then, it starts getting annoying. the only floor i absolutely loved playing was the fourth one, because the levels were interesting and involved lots of destruction, which made it amusing. floor 6 drove me MAD. especially level 604. you have to guide 3 inspectors to each of their positions, and the purple inspector was the one that made me pissed. you have to take him across the entire map, one corner to the opposing one. it’s pretty ok to do until the last part, when you have to take one of the thinner wooden planks to let him cross to the door. the main problem is the forklift with the ice. when those two have to work in the same place, the forklift becomes completely broken. it is nearly impossible to use. for some reason, driving onto the broken elevator causes the forklift to barely work, and not even want to turn around so you can drive out. it’s annoying and he been trying to work on this level for 2 days straight and it keeps making me extremely angry. kinda starting to regret spending $20 on this game. i haven’t even seen where the green inspector goes because i’m trying to get the purple inspector done and out of the way. i understand this game is three days old, so it has many quirks and glitches. i don’t want to play a game that i’m barely able to play because of one level. i really, REALLY enjoyed this game before this starting happening. it’s fun figuring out the puzzles and finding the hidden clothing items in each level. my personal favorite level was the greenhouse one, where you have to open 4 valves to get the greenhouse, well, green. learning how to get rid of the goo was FUN, and the level was really enjoyable. i want more levels like that in case more get added on in the future. anyways, this game just needs those glitches to go away. then i’ll be suuuuper happy and enjoy this game even more. This game has its ups and downs in frustrations. Many levels are brilliantly designed and fun to explore, solve, and destroy. It is guaranteed that EVERY level has some form of frustration, but at the same time satisfaction in beating it.

Good Job! is a stylish and insanely fun puzzle game that sometimes feels like a simple project for mobile phones, desperately trying to reach the level of consoles. The game does not have any entry threshold, you will learn almost all the gameplay mechanics in just a couple of minutes and will be able to have fun alone or with friends.

    Perhaps appropriately, it is merely a "good" game. [Issue #47 – July/August 2020, p. 20]

There’s a lot of gameplay ideas here but I’d rather the game was a half shorter, so that it would constantly surprise the player. [06/2020, p.45]
