This game is a blast to play with friends, and or by yourself. The physics can be janky at times, but overall is what contributes to the fun. Too much bugs, useless multiplayer. Overprice for that **** I want my money back.

A fun little game, in the same vein as Untitled Goose Game (a similar art style too) The “puzzles” are not very difficult, and there is barely enough variety to keep it interesting. There are also some technical issues that are lingering. That being said, there were many times I found myself chuckling at the sheer destruction and damage I caused. Overall, a decent game, but nothing amazing.

The game is truly fun, I found it while looking for a good game to play on the sofa with my girlfriend and it ticked all the right boxes. My only real criticism is the performance of the game, in co-op the framerate drops significantly when you get too far apart (i.e. below 15fps). If this gets fixed in a future patch this is easily a 9/10 game, only falling shy of a 10 because of some other minor issues.

Overall a recommended buy, especially if you plan to play solo, but be warned of the framerate issues in co-op due to its current release.

Fun and with a quirky spirit and presentation, but tiresome. Very short, but still ends up getting in your nerves for its poor controls.

Someone would be able to derive some fun from this little game, but the abysmal unresponsive controls, unpredictable physics which this game tries to use as a gimmick and confusing camera angles made my time with it borderline painful.

It feels "Rough around the edges", it feels like it's not been made "easy" for you.
The controls are weird and not very sharp, the physics is awkward at best but that is half of the fun.
You have to move an object from "Point A" vs "Point B", How? Just show us! It feels like there's no "right" way to do what you're asked! I feel like you'd look at 20 people clearing the same level

I feel like you'd look at 20 people clearing the same level and might have been done a dozen different ways!
You can either try and solve everything in a nice and logic manner or you can just wreck havoc and be a total @$$! haha!

This is a kind of game I like to call a "Filler".
You know, the kind of game that is fun for an hour in between other more "serious" games.

If you liked "Human fall flat" you'll love this.
If you love this game and didn't play "Human fall flat" then you should!

Edit : Came back to give it a 9.0 instead of an 8.0 cause now that I played it a bit more, I find it even more fun and hilarious!!

I wanted to like this game. Nintendo Direct really made it for me: looks fun, interesting design choices, messy and funny. But in the end, the controls feel clumsy (and I understand it's part of the idea, but it also feels that some improvements could be made), the gameplay is repetitive and it doesn't have much to offer past the 2nd or 3rd hour of playing.

    For its price, the game

For its price, the game delivers just so. After playing for a while, I just didn't see myself playing this again. All in all, it's fun but not for long. Switch has a great variety of games and I would rather suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

The game makes a lot of fun. It's just really hilarious when you wreck everything and see how much the damage costs. You always get a problem to solve in any way you want to and this I find very creative and fun. It's no masterpiece and nothing really special, but a game that gave me so much joy deserves 10/10 in my opinion.

Entry level couch Co-Op done exactly right. Good Job! is the perfect blend of quirk and chaos with excellent same-screen split-screen action.

Looks cute, gets boring fast. Should have paid more attention to the gameplay, doesn't feel like a true Nintendo game.

i was having fun for about 4 hours of the game. then, it starts getting annoying. the only floor i absolutely loved playing was the fourth one, because the levels were interesting and involved lots of destruction, which made it amusing. floor 6 drove me MAD. especially level 604. you have to guide 3 inspectors to each of their positions, and the purple inspector was the one that made mei was having fun for about 4 hours of the game. then, it starts getting annoying. the only floor i absolutely loved playing was the fourth one, because the levels were interesting and involved lots of destruction, which made it amusing. floor 6 drove me MAD. especially level 604. you have to guide 3 inspectors to each of their positions, and the purple inspector was the one that made me pissed. you have to take him across the entire map, one corner to the opposing one. it’s pretty ok to do until the last part, when you have to take one of the thinner wooden planks to let him cross to the door. the main problem is the forklift with the ice. when those two have to work in the same place, the forklift becomes completely broken. it is nearly impossible to use. for some reason, driving onto the broken elevator causes the forklift to barely work, and not even want to turn around so you can drive out. it’s annoying and he been trying to work on this level for 2 days straight and it keeps making me extremely angry. kinda starting to regret spending $20 on this game. i haven’t even seen where the green inspector goes because i’m trying to get the purple inspector done and out of the way. i understand this game is three days old, so it has many quirks and glitches. i don’t want to play a game that i’m barely able to play because of one level. i really, REALLY enjoyed this game before this starting happening. it’s fun figuring out the puzzles and finding the hidden clothing items in each level. my personal favorite level was the greenhouse one, where you have to open 4 valves to get the greenhouse, well, green. learning how to get rid of the goo was FUN, and the level was really enjoyable. i want more levels like that in case more get added on in the future. anyways, this game just needs those glitches to go away. then i’ll be suuuuper happy and enjoy this game even more. Fun couch co-op game with enough freedom of movement to create chaotic and funny situations. Cool colorful corporate isometric design style and well done split screen make it a joy to mess around with.

Infuriating AND hilarious - I love it. It's the perfect game for flatmates to play together, but warning - might cause a couple of arguments!

For an original Nintendo title, it feels smaller and glitchier than it should be, but it still delivers colorful, simple and fun creativity from beginning to end, particularly the destructive kind of creativity!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Good Job is a great game. I've had tons of fun playing around with my buddies. There are also negatives though. This game has a lot of different physics and mechanics, and several times I have glitched out of a barrier and had to restart the level. The difficulty is not too bad, but there are some levels that make you want to pull your hair out. There were some levels that I spent an hour on, even after looking at a walkthrough. TL; DR Great game, but has its faults. Expand

The game looks really fun and cute. The only disadvantage is the controls, sometimes it gets really annoying, but it's okay for me. There is levels which is very repetitive, and it's getting boring easily, but fortunetaly this is not true for the whole game.

I had fun with it, and it was also relaxing for me.

Good Job! is a stylish and insanely fun puzzle game that sometimes feels like a simple project for mobile phones, desperately trying to reach the level of consoles. The game does not have any entry threshold, you will learn almost all the gameplay mechanics in just a couple of minutes and will be able to have fun alone or with friends.

There’s a lot of gameplay ideas here but I’d rather the game was a half shorter, so that it would constantly surprise the player. [06/2020, p.45]
