    L’atelier du jeu vidéo est un excellent logiciel à visé éducative. Il ne fera pas de vous le prochain Miyamoto, Sakurai ou Aonuma. Mais adressé à un public jeune, il peut faire officie d’initiation et créer des vocations ou simplement de l’intérêt pour le monde de la programmation. Le jeu est accessible pour ce public, même un public plus âgé peu utilisé ce logiciel pour apprendre lesL’atelier du jeu vidéo est un excellent logiciel à visé éducative. Le jeu est accessible pour ce public, même un public plus âgé peu utilisé ce logiciel pour apprendre les bases de la programmation et entre apercevoir comment tout fonctionne. Mais ils possèdent quelques défauts, que ce soit la compilation, les limitations de création ou encore le mode en ligne et la non-présence d’un moteur de recherche et de certaines notions.

    I played the demo and was not impressed at all. The tutorial was pretty boring and way to long and the game is very limited.

    "I had some trepidation going into Game Builder Garage. I expected it to be either too basic, or too complicated. Thankfully Nintendo found a perfect balance with the creator. It has issues, for sure: it could have done with a couple of more game tutorials to cover the other Nodons, and some music in the creator would have been nice. With that being said, the creator is surprisingly accessible and extremely rewarding – even more so than Super Mario Maker 2 (at least, in my opinion). Hopefully Nintendo will support it down the line with additional lessons and maybe some extra objects. Any creatively minded Switch owners should snap this up, especially considering the uncharacteristically low selling price for a Nintendo game."

    fun game but a bit limited compared to scratch or roblox and lessons are very linear because you have to do what they say nothing more nothing less

    Game Builders Garage is a specific title for a specific audience of no less specific console. There is no universal evaluation, and if there is such a thing as an objective evaluation, it cannot be applied here. You have to try Game Builders Garage, and you will either fail the title or it will discourage you after a few minutes.

    Game Builder Garage offers enough tools to make everything from a simple platformer to a racing game to a space sim. The only downside is that it’s hard to discover games made by other players. [Issue#254, p.64]
