    Although Gallic Wars: Battle Simulator has some positive aspects, the game feels very much like a mobile title rather than a fully-fledged console release, best played in small bursts. The gameplay mechanics are just too basic to be enjoyable for any significant period of time and after just a few battles, the overall experience starts to feel tedious. It’s disappointing considering that it is trying to do something unique but it just fails to hit the ground running.

    I find Gallic Wars: Battle Simulator more of a proof of concept than an actual game. There are so many far superior options in the tactics category that this game is even a waste of time for beginners.
