Fuser is a weird little thing that has fantastic moments turn into awful ones at the drop of a beat. But when the awful moments are still incredibly fun, does it really matter? If you don't take Fuser too seriously, it could be one of the best rhythm games out there.

Fuser does what it says on the side of the box, but there could have been a more compelling foundation to keep you going past the point where it feels like you've done it all.

Creating mixes is awesome. Feeling you are going to music festivals is awesome. I think for those who love music this game could be a useful tool against anxiety and form a kind of music therapy. Genuinely it's that good.

Make sure you calibrate your settings in game so your video and audio have custom time synchronisation. It makes a huge difference to being able to catch downbeats and satisfyingly progress in campaign mode. The game gives a lot of instructing, follower them carefully to have a really good time.

PS The VIP edition is currently cheapest on the USA eshop. If in UK you can buy USA eshop cards on Playasia to save about £20.

Ever wish you could mix together parts of your favorite songs that encompasses all genres of music? Well now's your chance with this next toEver wish you could mix together parts of your favorite songs that encompasses all genres of music? Well now's your chance with this next to be hit from Harmonix!

Harmonix seems to know exactly what to do to strike gold in the music/rhythm genre of games. They are the creators of Amplitude, Frequency, Guitar Hero... and oh yeah, Rock Band. They have also made excellent games such as Dance Central, Fantasia, and DropMix.

Speaking of DropMix, this game seems like the perfect spiritual successor to the game that should have garnered much more attention than it did. in the game DropMix, you throw down cards that you have in a deck onto a plastic board that is synced to a mobile device such as a smart phone. When a card is played, an instrument or vocals section of the song listed on the card begins to play. The game continues by mixing and matching various vocals, beats, horns, guitars, and keyboards in a sort of tug of war match between two to four players.

In Fuser, you essentially do the same thing but instead are competing for the affection of your adoring fans. The mixes in Fuser are also much more customizable and feature a pretty good skill curve I haven't seen in a rhythm game since Guitar Hero or Rock Band first became available. In the main campaign of the game you are constantly tasked with dropping different beats at the precisely "correct" time per instructions the game gives you or your audience members request. You will be dropping, ejecting, looping and mixing back and forth to create a sound that only real world DJ's would dare try to replicate.

*Work in progress --- need to analyze social features and the vast array of customization and gameplay features --- tentative early score of 9*

That sound is "OOOOOOOOOOOHHH" because this game just makes you feel good while making master mixes, the three "Ms" as my brother calls it.
The campaign I short, but very sweet, and is a good way to settle players into the real meat of the game, which is the events.
the events are just mini competitions but are a BLAST to take part in.
When Covid-19 is gone, I can also see people setting this up on the T.V. at a party to let people create their own music.
As someone who whants to make music later in life, this game is a sream come true.
