A pocket-sized noir adventure filled with genuine charm and challenge that doesn’t really feel all that comfortable on console.

If you've already played Framed 1 and 2 on mobile there's not much reason to come back, but if you haven't these are the best versions of the unique and enduring puzzle games.

I liked the base puzzle mechanic, which was why I bought the game. That didn’t disappoint. The music fit the genre and the sound effects didn’t get in the way, so it broke even there. I liked the art style as well—it was very ‘film noire’-y, even down to the character design.

And some puzzles were really good, but others were weaker. There was definitely a lack of variety, and the game is quite short. If the base mechanic had been utilized in a few other ways, with several more levels and a more fleshed out story, it would have been a bit better, but as it is it took me and my wife about three hours over two evenings—buy on sale.

A delightful puzzler in three chapters with novel comics-inspired game mechanics. Keeping this on my "replay later" list.

I like the idea of this comics-like game. Once I finished the frame I wanted to know what's on the next one.
