    For me, the game on the switch feels way better than on ps4 because I can hit Zr for example and place stairs instead of scrolling with L1 and R1 and scroll to stairs then place R2.

    It's fun for a little game with your friends or so, and can be quite engaging, but it's mostly so full of microtransactions and promotions it just feels pushy. The community is also pretty toxic. I can see the vision that Epic Games had for Fortnite, but it's just gone down the wrong road.

    Un jeu exceptionnel que j'ai eu la chance d'y jouer à ses tout débuts à la saison (Dusty depot, Moisty Mire, les usines, Fatal Fields la maison en métal tout ça ...). Comme Rainow Six, c'est l'un de mes jeux multu préférés pour tous les bons moments que j'ai pu passé. Je ne mets pas 10 pour l'état actuel du jeu, je n'ai plus aucune envie d'y jouer mais je suis reconnaissant pour leUn jeu exceptionnel que j'ai eu la chance d'y jouer à ses tout débuts à la saison (Dusty depot, Moisty Mire, les usines, Fatal Fields la maison en métal tout ça ...).     Gameplay
    The gameplay of Fortnite is very boring and easy. You have to control one character who can run, jump, build, and shoot. You have to survive against 99 other players who are trying to kill you. Sometimes you have to find weapons, sometimes you have to find resources, and sometimes you have to find a safe zone. The controls are very simple and basic, and the camera is very smooth    Gameplay

And then there’s also a lot of challenges and quests that you can do or ignore. It’s very hard to care and it doesn’t make any sense. It makes me want to skip and ignore.

    Graphics
    The graphics of Fortnite are very ugly and childish. The characters look very cartoonish and unrealistic, especially their faces and their bodies. The environments look very bland and generic, especially the grass and the trees. The cutscenes look very silly and stupid, especially the dances and the emotes. The graphics are the only bad thing about this game. They make me want to puke and cry.

    Sound
    The sound of Fortnite is very quiet and boring. The music is very dull and forgettable, especially the lobby music. The sound effects are very weak and lame, especially the gunshots and the explosions. The voice acting is very rare and irrelevant, especially the announcer’s voice and the character’s voice. The sound is very bad for my mood. It makes me want to sleep and snore.

    Overall
    Fortnite has also made the world a worse place. It has corrupted the youth and the culture. It has promoted violence and addiction among young people, who become obsessed with the game and neglect their education and social life. It has also stolen dances and songs from other artists without giving them credit or compensation. It has also influenced other media and celebrities to pander to the Fortnite audience, such as Marvel movies or Ninja.

    Fortnite is a cancer on society and culture. It should be banned and erased from existence. It is a threat to humanity and civilization. It makes me scared and disgusted. I give it negative infinity stars out of ten.

    This game is laggy which will get you killed in game quickly since its cross play the people on better consoles easily destroy everyone on switch, and then the way overpriced microtransactions are insane 10 to 15 dolars for a single skin is stupid.

    When I first played this game, I was bored out of my mind the whole time, as I felt that barely anything was happening. However, As I continued to play, I actually began to have some fun with this title. Now, I can say that this game is actually not that bad. It's not fully my cup of tea and certainly not something I'd play everyday, but I can understand why so many people genuinely enjoy this.

    This game changed my life forever as it is just so fun and cool
    The game is great to play with friends and honestly is okay to spend money on (just not too much) as all you need is to buy vbucks once and then as long as you complete the battle pass will be gifted with even more profits each season.

I started playing around season 2 and I stopped playing around season 8 and have kind of lost track of whatever is going on over the last few years but its a pretty good game. It was fairly innovative for the time, a battle royale with building was a cool concept and II LOOOVVVVEEE Fortnite. that may be a bit of an exaggeration but looking at these user reviews its definitely over hated. The game isn't fun, it's primarily played by annoying children, and I'm tired of being asked for v bucks from my little brother, and the art style is horrible and it spawned an infuriating wave of awful battle royale games.     Fortnite has definitely lost it's charm over the years and while wining brings some satisfaction you are constantly being yelled at your teammates and being placed against players better than you frequently so while it's a good game the community brings this game way down.

Though the performance on switch specifically is spotty. It can freeze, crash, and there can be graphical glitches.     Good game. Tons of updates, fun weapons, lots of fun and good game modes, and good map design. The monetisation model is excellent as well. The building aspect of this game is also removed, making the game so much more playable and enjoyable. However, the weapon balance is simply broken at times, with the robot, the sword, and the planes being prime examples of this. The single map alsoGood game.     For one, Save the World is not available on the Switch port of Fortnite. Two, ever since 2018, the game has increasingly gotten harder to run. Used to be a really smooth experience, now it's just a laggy mess being matched up with players better than you on different platforms.

    This might be a little controversial, but i really like this game. I of course liked it a ton more back in the day a few years ago when everyone played it. The game also looks like ass on switch but that's the console i use most often so i play it on that. Fun game, needs some improvement :)

    Ignoring the fanbase, this is a pretty mediocre shooting game with a unique building mechanic with too many microtransactions. I understand the hype, but that doesn't mean I don't hate it.

    The game is great.
    I play it on nintendo switch and really enjoy it.
    The only problem with the game is that the 80% of the community are little kids and there is no way to get a decent skin but mothers credit card and kids who cant buy skins are being bullied in school but fortnite do not give a chance to get a free skin.

    It would be fine in a world without any other multiplayer shooters, however, it's not the only multiplayer shooter in the world, that is, in my eyes.

    The game is slow, methodical, and just boring. In around the 30 hours or so I've played this game, I rarely found any enjoyment. Most of the game is spent making matches in lobbies, jumping from a bus, grinding for materials. When you die, you lose your progress, so none of it matters anyways. The game stays stagnant, and boring. It hardly ever engages my attention. I don't understand how people enjoyed this game several years ago.

    General thoughts:

    On top of that, weapons and mechanics are constantly removed and replaced with other certain things, which worries about the preservation of video games as a whole. For instance, instead of nerfing the pump shotgun, (a decently overpowered hitscan weapon) they replaced it with the same concept, but you charge it. Why? What were they thinking when they did this? On the other hand, you got a completely braindead update, like with mechs. They gave the players suits with huge weapons, and fancy gadgets. This devastated any other players on the battle field, and just felt like a big slap in the face of what was the current player base.

    Multiplayer:

    I hear people make the argument all the time: "Ah! It's funner-er with friends. That justifies playing this game, right?" Anything is fun when you have good friends playing with you. Nope, try again.
    As for the multiplayer, it's Fortnite with 2-4 players. I guarantee you will have more fun playing Team Fortress 2, or Counter-Strike, or Call of Duty, or Quake, or Goldeneye, or anything.

    Microtransactions:

    You're telling me I have to buy the rights to unlock a pass to unlock things in a set period of time, otherwise it's game over? NO! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND EPIC GAMES KNOWS THIS! It is sucking money out of parent's wallets left and right!

    - Those dance moves are obnoxious.

    Pros:

    - Pretty fun to play for a while, and perfect to squeeze in a quick game on the Switch.
    - Yes, it lifted its best ideas from other games–but it also gave them a slick coat of paint.
    - The gameplay loop has flashes of greatness, when you feel like an embattled survivor in a post-apocalyptic world.

    Fortnite Battle Royale delivers a perfect balance in gunplay, progression and sandbox elements. No wonder it may be 2018's gaming phenomenon. We even like the way microtransactions allow players to enter new challenges and earn cosmetics for the game, but don´t alter the core mechanics.
