    The actual game is good. On the switch, it sucks. Everything takes 10 years to render in, causing you to bounce rapidly on surfaces. And it runs at like 25 fps

    EPIC doesn't care about it's playerbase or anything but money. They scrapped paragon, and now they've scrapped save the world. Don't waste your money buying any of their games - it likely will never be finished, and they will let the playerbase slowly dwindle and die.

    This game is bad. The gameplay is okay and very repetitive. It is just an average shooter game. There is pretty much no story or music. The multiplayer aspect is cool, you can play with your friends and talk to them in game. If you talk to random people that get matched up with you’ll probably end up with a 5 year old screaming into his $2 mic.

    Fortnite is actually really fun on Switch! I never really expected it to be because of the fact that you need to pay to change your skin and do lots of stuff. Even with that aside, it's a really fun game!
    Heres what Fortnite does right
    -Small map that makes it easier to find enemies -Good graphics -Variety of Battle Royale modes, not just the same one all the time. -Lots of different    Fortnite is actually really fun on Switch!     And one last thing when players jump into a rift other player should be able to shoot them while skydiving and not be able to hit them only once they landed on the ground.    … Expand

    I love this game, I play it a lot on switch and Xbox. It is amazing I have spent around 700 hours on Xbox and 175 on switch. BUT some of the players are really toxic, just stay away from them.

There are "skins" as well and you have to pay using "V BUCKS" you can buy the lowest amount of V BUCKS possible and you won't have enough for the lowest priced skin!     Начнем с того,что эта игра полная параша для строителей,новичок придя в игру просто офигеет как тут игроки за несколько секунд строят крепости и самим игрокам придется учиться строить такие же крепости,а я хочу отметить то что это очень долго по этому новичкам придется очень не просто.

    Так же должен отметить что стрельба с автоматов в фортнайт ужасная так как работает это на рандом,про баллистику я вообще молчу,я лучше поиграю в тот же пубг чем буду стрелять из ужасно оружия.
    Третий минус это потимизация.Да именно она,игра не соответсвует своим требованиям так как разработчики добавили кучу ненужного и мешающего геймплею мусора,тут я думаю про оптимизацию нечего сказать.
    Четверты минус это скины.Скины нужно покупать за реальный деньги,но скины стоят кучу денег и их даже продать потом нельзя по этому просто бессмысленная трата денег для дурачков,лучше за такие деньги купить нормальную игру.
    Подведем итоге:
    В игре присутствует динамика,но она испорчена ужасной фишкой игры - строительством
    Игра как я и говорил построенная на стройке
    Плохая оптимизация не соответствующая требованиям
    Ужасная баллистика и рандомная стрельба с автоматов
    Дорогие скины
    И совсем забыл отметить,то что в игре присутствует очень много багов,не проходит урон и т.д так что в эту игру я совсем не советую играть.Спасибо за внимание.    … Expand

    I would not like to make this long so, I'd just like to say that this game was fun but to me is now finally dying, there honestly running out of ideas for this game and it feels like if you don't play for a few days then everyone gets 10 times better at the game. In summary, this game was fun while it lasted, but I think it's time for this game to come to an end.

    This is just outright boring.
    And then there's the community. The game's free, but no one will ever will even dare to try and revive you because "you're a noob", and so you go and waste over 20 bucks on a single skin, that's enough for a nice meal!
    Just, don't download this, ever.

    There is so much hype over this game but really, I think that is pointless.This game is so repetitive and is the only game able to bore me after only a few days of playing.If you don’t have the battle pass the game become even more boring with only 2 challenges a day.I don’t recommend this game to anyone except for the 8 year olds who would find this fun.

Plus the Switch version of this game looks really bad even on the dock textures loads up so slow or some doesn't load up even right.     Yet another battle royal game. Built upon the bones of a forgotten game designed by Epic and further elevated by mass media hype through junk celebrities and social media spamming. Fortnite is a great example of how a bad game can be made famous when enough money and publicity is thrown at it.

    This is overall a good port for Switch. The 30fps dosn't bother me that much and it's still Fortnite. Now all we have to do is wait for Save the World.

    Unfinished game, Full of toxic players and the report player option does not work or they probably trash players' feedback. At least you can't yell in the switch unless you have a usb mic.

    It's also buggy, laggy and hard to control.

    I am an elementary school teacher and all I hear is "Do you play Fortnite?" I have checked the game out since I am a gamer, but this game is just stupid. This is just another thing corrupting youths minds. I place Fortnite in the same category as those dumb fidget spinners. Both are a school teachers nightmare because it is just so annoying! I just can't promote Fortnite because if II am an elementary school teacher and all I hear is "Do you play Fortnite?" I have checked the game out since I am a gamer, but this game is just stupid.     Its a real shame that with all the quality games out there this trash is what young gamers want to play.

    I used to be a Fortnite hater until I played about a dozen 4man squad rounds and I really love it and find non building battle royales a lot less dynamic than Fortnite. I hope someone else takes this and builds on it!

Glider redeploy was something everyone liked but they took it out. this was the last straw with Fornite for me and i'm quitting this **** game for good… Expand

    I mean it's Fortnite, there isn't much to say about it. It's free, so feel free to have the game on all platforms. On a positive note, you don't need an online membership to play the game, so that's a plus.

    I never tried out Fortnite on the PC, so playing it on the Switch is my first experience with it, and I've found it to be very fun. I think the art style is fun, I think the building mechanic is inventive, and I've seen other players put it to brilliant use, I think the impending storm is a brilliant way to funnel players together and encourage aggressive strategies as opposed to exclusiveI never tried out Fortnite on the PC, so playing it on the Switch is my first experience with it, and I've found it to be very fun. I think the art style is fun, I think the building mechanic is inventive, and I've seen other players put it to brilliant use, I think the impending storm is a brilliant way to funnel players together and encourage aggressive strategies as opposed to exclusive duck and cover based gameplay, it's more fun than ever when you get to connect with three friends, and it's free to play.

    My only complaints are the lack of a free play mode to help you get used to using the building mechanic easier, and the lack of a tutorial to help ease you into the game,as opposed to immediately pushing you off a cliff (or in this case, a bus). This may not be my favorite online multiplayer game ever (I'm too much of a sucker for Splatoon), but it's a great game, and it'll cost you nothing to give it a try.    … Expand

    Juego entretenido para pasar el rato, pero mas alla de las skins y demas empieza a ser monotono, instrumentos y/o armas del juego que rompen con lo divertido, que simplifican a quien encuentra y sobrevive tendra la ventaja en el combate final, en el 90% de ocasiones funciona asi, porque logicamente habran variables, por otro lado , al morir tienes que esperar un conteo de ... Espero que epic algun dia deje la opcion para moverle los graficos en consola, probablemente de esta manera la experiencia seria mejor.

    Por otro lado, el gyroscopio fue una buena implementacion, sin embargo, creo que deberia de haber una opcion para que este se active solo al apuntar con el arma y no que este todo el tiempo activo, ya que a la larga se vuelve incomodo y limita al jugador a tener que jugar en una sola posicion.    … Expand

    Mala carga de texturas, muy muy baja calidad gráfica lo cual conlleva a que tarden mas en aparecer lo enemigos, los joycon no son nada cómodos para los shooters, estoy descuerdo que es una versión portátil pero creo que podrían mejorarlo

    the game have too many bugs, It only have the battle royal mode and not the save the world mode, I would give the game a 7 or 8, but I give a 4 because it only runs at 30fps and it doesnt have the save the world mode, also the crossplay isnt on if you dont have any friend of a Xbox, or a pc, so you will always play with members with a switch

    I just played it twice and then it was clear: Overhyped. Just an online shooting game. Splatoon is so much better and makes so much more fun. This game is just boring. The concept is too simple. Find weapons, gather together, kill everybody, restart. Yawn! Also the graphic is not really nice. This game can be easy ignored!

    Fortnite is not a bad game but it's only a Battle Royal on Switch. It is worth downloading if you just got a Switch considering its free but its not a game that I would see myself playing for hours when there are hundreds of other amazing games on the Switch!

    It would be fine in a world without any other multiplayer shooters, however, it's not the only multiplayer shooter in the world, that is, in my eyes.

    The game is slow, methodical, and just boring. In around the 30 hours or so I've played this game, I rarely found any enjoyment. Most of the game is spent making matches in lobbies, jumping from a bus, grinding for materials. When you die, you lose your progress, so none of it matters anyways. The game stays stagnant, and boring. It hardly ever engages my attention. I don't understand how people enjoyed this game several years ago.

    General thoughts:

    On top of that, weapons and mechanics are constantly removed and replaced with other certain things, which worries about the preservation of video games as a whole. For instance, instead of nerfing the pump shotgun, (a decently overpowered hitscan weapon) they replaced it with the same concept, but you charge it. Why? What were they thinking when they did this? On the other hand, you got a completely braindead update, like with mechs. They gave the players suits with huge weapons, and fancy gadgets. This devastated any other players on the battle field, and just felt like a big slap in the face of what was the current player base.

    Multiplayer:

    I hear people make the argument all the time: "Ah! It's funner-er with friends. That justifies playing this game, right?" Anything is fun when you have good friends playing with you. Nope, try again.
    As for the multiplayer, it's Fortnite with 2-4 players. I guarantee you will have more fun playing Team Fortress 2, or Counter-Strike, or Call of Duty, or Quake, or Goldeneye, or anything.

    Microtransactions:

    You're telling me I have to buy the rights to unlock a pass to unlock things in a set period of time, otherwise it's game over? NO! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND EPIC GAMES KNOWS THIS! It is sucking money out of parent's wallets left and right!

    Fortnite on a Handheld console is great. Ive been wanting this port for ages and its finally here! A few things that need to be fixed, but i'm sure it will be fixed in updates in the future. Also if you are thinking of buying a Switch just for Fortnite, go ahead because its that good. Also it looks a lot better than Mobile and the controls are way better as well.     As a first time player of Fortnite due to South East Asia PS Store not having it, I downloaded this FREE game as it launched. It runs superbly on the Nintendo and is great fun. Very little time waiting to enter the battles which was really surprising after the time it takes to matchmake on Rocket League.

    Fortnite is developed by Epic games and was originally designed to be a 3rd person co-op survival game, That part of the game is still around but when the Battle Royale genre exploded with the arrival of PUBG Epic games saw an opportunity and remoulded their game, enter Fortnite: Battle Royale. Although Fortnite shares some obvious similarities with PUBG it has a lot of obvious differences. For starters where PUBG goes for the realistic mil-sim approach Fortnite goes for bright and colourful graphics. Instead of a military plane, in Fortnite we jump from a party bus. the premise is still the same though,up to 100 players are dropped into a map which is constantly shrinking due to the Blue Zone/Storm, with the goal of looting weapons and gear in order to become the last person or team left standing. At first glance you might be forgiven for thinking that Fortnite is a kids game and that would be a huge mistake. Whilst the game is massively popular with kids there's a lot more going on than just jumping around the map trying to shoot each other. Take the building mechanics for example. Building in Fortnite can be just as crucial a skill as shooting. Out building your foe can be the difference between an early return to the lobby or that much sought after Victory. It's frustrating to learn the art of building but it can't be overstated how rewarding it is when you manage to out-build someone, knowing that your skills were just better in that encounter. Building used in this way is pretty groundbreaking and sets Fortnite aside from its competitors. Building forts and trying to get the high ground can be important but if like me, you aren't very good at it then you can for the most part get by with just using simpler structures. It's clear though that to really become good at Fortnite then building is a skill worth learning. I love the loot system in Fortnite, no matter where you drop it is possible to get yourself reasonably well kitted out and get you in on the action or keep you alive long enough to get yourself better loot. Weapons come in a variety of rarities and these rarities can turn the tide of a battle.
    The progression system in Fortnite is really good, especially if you purchase the Battle Pass and is the area that PUBG fails miserably in perhaps the most. In Fortnight you have challenges to complete and levelling up your tiers provides you with fun rewards or XP boosts. Cosmetic DLC can be purchased from the store and there's none of the frankly pathetic Loot box system found in PUBG where you buy a key and end up with a billion red T-shirts. In Fortnite you visit the store, see what you want and buy it. Prices for Skins are a bit steep but you can earn Skins just by levelling up your tiers during a season and as it's a free to play game I guess we can't really say much about it.

    I think for me though the standout area where Fortnite absolutely trounces PUBG is in the way the game runs. Fortnite is so well optimised that its totally understandable to me now why so many players are leaving PUBG behind. Don't get me wrong i will still play PUBG just as much as I always have but one can't help but admire Fortnite for how smoothly it plays.

    How Does the Switch Version compare to the Other platforms? Surprisingly well to be honest considering how much power the other consoles have over it. The Switch version can be played either in handheld mode or on the TV but if you are out and about you will obviously need an internet connection. The Switch version obviously has lower resolution and frame rate than its PS4/Xbox counterpart but the core of the game is still the same and shows just how well the Unreal 4 engine performs. the most notable difference is the frame rate. Instead of 60FPS we get 30FPS and resolution sits between 720p and 900p (dynamic scaling is used in docked mode). The Pro Controler is definitely the best way to play but the joy-cons are ok once you get used to them. It's truly awesome to be able to take a meaningful version of the game out and about though and in my humble opinion the Nintendo Switch version can sit proudly next to the other platforms.    … Expand

    Ns version is very good! However, it does not support somatosensory sensation and hopes to update the somatosensory function as soon as possible. It would be even better if Chinese were supported.

    The port for the switch is very good, no problems with that and the idea of the game is very good. However Fortnite is implemented very poorly and has a ridiculous and horrible matchmaking, if any. It's extremely difficult to learn for new players since there are no tutorials and they are set with any players in queue that just demolish the newest and nub players. Needs serious fixes.

    FORTNITE is a fun game, not one I take seriously, it's not meant to be taken seriously unless you are insanely good and compete in competitions, but I am not that good at it, a very fun game with a group of friends, not so fun for me by myself, not the type of game I usually play but fun with a group of friends.

    Regardless of what anyone says, this game became a phenomenon for a reason. It was an amazing game. I say "was" because skill based match making, AI bots, and a map that's too large and hilly have almost ruined the game. I also have to ding the Switch version for poor performance.

    Fortnite's polished gameplay and visual charm stands out from the hordes of other zombie games that have arrived in the past few years. To make matters worse, it feels too focused now it's held back by an invasive microtransaction model and design imperfections that keep it from being another trophy for Epic Games. Fortnite: Battle Royale is a great play for anyone.

    Been playing this quite a lot lately at home but also played it several times on my Switch @ a local coffee shop. This is the most versatile version ever of Fortnite. Even with a phone, there's no joycons, meaning that in portable or tabletop mode you can finally play this game decently and with some excellent graphics.10/10

Most shooter games have at least ten and most have more but not fortnite. It makes every match feel the same except for the weapons you can find, but the weapon system is another problem. The game doesn’t force you to so it isn’t a huge deal. The building mechanic works well and makes the game different. While the game isn’t horrible, I think it’s the most overrated game this year.     Switch's Fortnight is still Fortnight. And that's fine, but unless you were actually dying to play it away from home and have no qualms about starting over from scratch (thanks Epic) then stick to the version you already own.

    Fortnite on Nintendo Switch is the worst version of Fortnite, it looks better even on iPhone, Epic doesnt give us an option to play at 60 fps, and the portability inst an excuse this time, the game runs lots better on any iPhone and its more easy to take your iPhone to play whenever you want.

    I'm sure this game is fine on PC, as I do NOT recommend the Switch Version. The aiming was design for a mouse, not a analog stick. However, the game can be a mixed bag of enjoyment. matches either have you be killed immediately out of nowhere or have your wonder around for 10 minutes and than be killed out of nowhere. have the game is free, so at least I didn't waste money on this.

You can build quickly and fight players in the solo mode, duo mode, or squad mode. The game is very fun when playing with friends too. Winning a game feels like an accomplishment in any mode. Fortnite took quite a few rounds to get used to what's going on, where stuff is and how to not get killed within seconds but after a while it gets to be good fun even if you're not that brilliant at FPS games.     It's free! And a good shooter to boot! I'm having fun playing this game. Even with it's performance issues like occasional in game hiccups or what not. Plus, I can play with other players on other platforms too (except PS4) if I wanted to!

    - Les mises à jour régulières

    Ce que je n'ai pas aimé :
    - Absence d'un mode solo (mais c'est tout à fait subjectif)
    - La distance d'affichage de certains éléments du décor un peu courte (herbe entre autres)
    - Le système de construction
    - On se perd vite dans les comandes. Temps d'adaptation long
    - Personnalisation plutôt limité
    - Les véhicules ne sont que des éléments de décor

    Fortnite Battle Royale delivers a perfect balance in gunplay, progression and sandbox elements. No wonder it may be 2018's gaming phenomenon. We even like the way microtransactions allow players to enter new challenges and earn cosmetics for the game, but don´t alter the core mechanics.
