    It's apparent that Forever Forest is a port of a mobile game. With randomly generated biomes, there's plenty of gameplay for those who seek it, but much of it proves too mundane, shallow, and repetitive.

    Forever Forest looks and sounds nice, but that unfortunately masks a game with performance issues and repetitive gameplay that will put many people off.

    Forever Forest feels like an early access game; it looks and sounds a treat but there’s disappointingly little joy to be had here. You’ll initially enjoy treading the game’s green spaces, and swapping your character’s mask out for a more impressive, and lethal, piece of headgear will raise a smile. But with no meaningful goal to power through the tedium towards – and since the game theoretically goes on forever – you’ll quickly lose interest. Lovely as it is to look at, Forever Forest leaves a lot to be desired.

    I really like the meditative, flowy nature of this game. The art hits a sweet spot between eerie and cute, which is complimented by the musicI really like the meditative, flowy nature of this game. The art hits a sweet spot between eerie and cute, which is complimented by the music as well. After a few minutes of gameplay, I found myself entranced in this simple yet very complete world. I was also surprised that the forest really is forever, as in procedurally generated with no end to it. very neat feature.

    I really like the style of the game. It is fun to explore the forest and hunt for masks.
