Dec 18, 2024With a plethora of routines and motions to do, music to keep you engaged, and an easy and simple way to track your progress, I genuinely think that Fitness Boxing 3 is a great way to work on yourself and have a bunch of fun doing so. Game-ifying workouts is a surprisingly unique concept, and it’s good to see it’s done as well as it is here. If you’re seeking an entry into working out and improving your body, especially with a fun methodology, I don’t think there’s a better option.

Jan 13, 2025All in all, it’s easy to say it’s the best fitness boxing game yet. It might not do anything spectacular or innovative– it’d be fun to have an opponent to spar with, or even a punching bag to see bounce off each hit– but it gets a sweat up and your heart pumping. It’s boxing and it’ll keep you fit, simple as that.

Dec 9, 2024Fitness Boxing 3 is a totally fine exercise experience, and I would recommend it over the first or second mainline game. The exercises in it make sense and feel like they make a difference if you stick with it. There are some interesting options for when you feel like opting for something other than the straightforward Daily Workout. However, I will say people looking for something a little more fun or engaging would be better served going with the Hatsune Miku or Fist of the North Star entries.

Dec 4, 2024Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer is the ideal experience for those looking to exercise more regularly, with fun boxing gameplay and gamified mechanics that reward consistency and progress.
-
Dec 4, 2024Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer offers some solid exercises and a comfortable difficulty curve to help people of all fitness levels.
-
Dec 4, 2024If you’re looking for a fun fitness routine that you can easily do at home, then Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer. Not only does it incentivise you to return every day, but the exercises you will be doing will get your heart racing. While it shouldn’t replace going to a gym, nor will it make you a professional boxer, it will give you a workout based on your needs and abilities and you can change it to your heart’s content.
-
Dec 4, 2024I really like Fitness Boxing 3 as a training tool. I've been incorporating it into my workout routine getting my cardio in the morning with Fitness Boxing 3, and then doing my weights at lunchtime for a more complete experience. If you're looking for a fun way to start moving, then this could well be it.
-
Dec 4, 2024With all of these points combined, the main thing to note is that while there are a lot of similarities between Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise and Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer, this game also feels like a significant step forward in almost every conceivable metric. It's tighter, more responsive, has a deeper list of game modes, looks better, and still delivers the engaging and rewarding fitness activities that we expect from the franchise.
-
Dec 4, 2024Thanks to its new game modes and the degree of customization of the daily workout, this new entry in the Fitness Boxing series can be an ideal complement for those players who want to exercise, mostly, their arms.
-
Dec 9, 2024This entry offers improved progression, a new seated workout mode, and more accessibility options, but the motion detection remains imprecise, and the music selection is limited. It’s a solid fitness complement, though not a replacement for real training.
-
Mar 19, 2025Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer gets a lot right, and it’s an addictive, well-thought-out boxing experience with a virtual workout planner that's perfect for beginners. At its best, you can tailor it to create an engaging daily workout, and even I struggled to keep up with its harder difficulty levels. However, it suffers from the same issues as many movement-based games that came before it: it’s easy to cheat yourself out of the experience based on shoddy movement controls.
-
Dec 17, 2024Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer is a good option for those who want to have fun while doing a boxing-focused workout. It includes new features like a mode without using legs and better interface responsiveness. However, it feels very similar to the previous games.
-
Dec 12, 2024Fitness Boxing 3 is a solid improvement over its predecessor, perfect for those seeking a fun and accessible way to stay active at home while maybe learning a bit about boxing. Just don’t challenge real boxers to a match.
-
Dec 11, 2024Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer may not actually train the player to be an effective boxer, but it is a fun way to burn some calories and get the heart rate elevated. The targets seem to accurately track the punching movement when it comes to scoring, and the routines presented in the daily challenges are varied enough that getting in some cardio doesn't feel like a chore. Due to the nature of it being a game, the calorie counter is only an approximation and there's no real feedback on whether the player is using good form in their punches. It isn't going to be as effective as a real trainer, but it's an enjoyable and effective cardio workout that would be a great supplement to an existing exercise program or a good starting point for a gamer that wants to be more active.
-
Dec 6, 2024Fitness Boxing 3 keeps the sweat up just as much as the previous games in the series. There are enough new modes here to keep things interesting, but how long you stick with it depends on your ability to find the time to exercise. I played much of this in handheld mode after waking up in the morning, and that worked for me. It is a great package, and makes for a good introduction to exercising. It has its annoyances for sure, but nothing big enough that would prevent me recommending this title to anyone looking to improve their overall physical wellbeing.
-
Dec 4, 2024Fitness Boxing 3 is a good addition for those who want to exercise with their console and add more routines, apart from going to the gym. It is more complete and varied than the previous installment, although it still has aspects that could be improved, starting with the lack of some options (variety of scenarios) or a tacky soundtrack full of MIDI covers.
-
Dec 4, 2024Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer pulls the punches in providing an accessible workout experience that encourages a more active and healthy lifestyle. The charismatic personal trainers excel at properly motivating you to reach your goals with the help of fun, albeit finicky, motion-controlled rhythm-based boxing exercises. While the game doesn’t do quite enough to differentiate itself from its predecessors for those that have them, it’s still a fairly good fitness regime for those who are looking to get an early start on their New Year’s resolutions.
-
Dec 4, 2024The awful music aside, Fitness Boxing 3 brings some much-needed variety to what could have been another by-the-numbers release with new songs and not much else. The Sit Fit Boxing and Mitt Drills modes give options to those who want to be less or more active respectively, and the extra trainer options are ideal for players who like to pretend they’re dealing with an actual person. And even better, because Mitt Drills isn’t rhythm-based, you can put your headphones on and listen to your own tunes.
-
Jan 7, 2025Nintendo cares about our health and to prove it brings us a new chapter of the Fitness Boxing series, urging us to get off the couch and follow the workout routines of inflexible virtual trainers. The playful streak of titles like Ring Fit Adventure and Boxing Fist of the North Star disappears in favour of more serious training based on the fundamentals of boxing. Worth considering if you're looking for an excuse to burn off those Christmas calories.
-
Jan 17, 2025Fitness Boxing 3’s weak voice work and shoddy motion detection somehow do little to keep you coming back for more. By gamifying the exercise, it keeps you engaged and motivated, and you’ll quickly find yourself surprised at how tired you become from these exercises.
-
Dec 4, 2024Fitness Boxing games follow one another and are similar. Going straight to the point, at the risk of seeming sanitized in its form, the title signed Imagineer succeeds in making us sweat energetically on a very rhythmic soundtrack. However, the weight of its haphazard movement recognition is starting to be too heavy to bear. In addition, the timid new features of this third part, certainly welcome, do not require us to go back to the checkout. To be direct: the new iteration of the software published by Nintendo remains catchy, but it looks like a big update sold at a high price.
-
Dec 4, 2024If you’re looking for something to add to your fitness routine, and don’t mind a bit of repetition in some soulless instructors, this one certainly fits the bill.
-
Dec 4, 2024Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer tries to surpass the ambitions of its predecessors, but with a mix of new features that aren't always coherent with the spirit of the product itself.
-
Jan 7, 2025If Fitness Boxing 3 gets you moving even a little bit more than usual, perhaps that’s job done. But you might just as well look up a few boxercise videos on YouTube and save your money for a new pair of trainers.
-
Jan 6, 2025If you can muster the will and the motivation, Fitness Boxing 3 can help you burn calories (...) It's definitely fun.
-
Dec 4, 2024A new batch of exercises based on boxing moves. Although it's based on rhythm sequences, it's more of a training service than a game in the sense of rhythm games.
-
Dec 4, 2024Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer continues to push the series’ presentation and accessibility options but can’t quite overcome the inherently limited range of exercises the Joy-Con can offer it. Light and fun enough for a beginner, it's more fitness toy than fitness trainer.
-
Dec 4, 2024While the best fitness games are designed for people who play video games, Fitness Boxing 3 feels like it was made for non-gamers who may happen to have a Switch in their home. Sure, it gets you moving, but there’s not much there to make the idea of exercising first thing in the morning remotely appealing.
-
Dec 4, 2024There’s little new in this game, it treads previous ground from other titles, but it is neatly put together and will appeal to a limited audience.

Dec 4, 2024If you look at Fitness Boxing 3 as a regular game, it is too less demanding especially concerning precision. But the game wants to be an interactive fitness coach and does pretty well as this. If you want to beat your inner demon for making sports, Fitness Boxing is a great and highly motivating choice for Switch owners. [Good]

Jan 2, 2025Fitness Boxing 3 is another great addition to my current home gym setup and ongoing video game library of workout options, and I was surprised by how comprehensive it was. I had personally fallen off the wagon with boxing after the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and the game reminded me how much I love it — and it let me remember that in a simple, approachable way that didn’t make me feel bad for how many years it’s been. Whether you’re trying to get back into boxing or you’re a total newcomer to the sport, Fitness Boxing 3 will teach you the basics and show you how intense the ramp-up can become. It just might inspire you to buy a punching bag… or even go to a place that has a lot more of them.
