FIFA 19 on Nintendo Switch offers an experience almost on par with the other versions of the game. This version’s visuals are kind of weak on TV mode, however, it also proves to be enough when playing on handheld mode. Furthermore, it features all of the available options for the Champions League, the Ultimate Team as well as other game modes.

It's still running on a custom engine which means that whilst it lacks some of the features of other FIFA 19 variants, improvements over last year's edition on the Switch are very welcome and noticeable, offering a great experience. Arguably the BEST handheld football title yet. If you don't own FIFA 18 and want a football game, then this is for you.

This version might be missing modes found on other consoles, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth your time. From the newly-added UEFA Champions League mode, to the updated online that now lets you play with friends, there’s plenty to see and do. The top-tier gameplay feels fluid and crisp, the visual upgrades are noticeable, and having the FIFA experience portable is a great feeling. For those who want more than the standard Career modes or love diving into the Ultimate Team this version might not be for you, but if those aren’t deal breakers, then FIFA 19 on the Switch is a fantastic way to get your soccer fix.

FIFA 19 brilliantly serves new players and the hardcore returning players. While missing The Journey story mode from other platforms, FIFA 19’s improvements prove EA’s commitment to the Nintendo Switch in the form of the console’s best sports game yet.

FIFA 19 is a step in the right direction. There are still some big differences between this and the main versions of the game, but it’s a great way to enjoy FIFA on your Switch.

The new title from EA manages to offer a renewed gameplay that's been necessary for a long time. The game improves control in portable mode and has a few significant differences in TV mode. FIFA 19 transmits direct and offensive football, as well as a fast game that's rhythm focused on its online mode.

A simple upgrade of FIFA 18 on Switch. There's a lack of modes due to the absence of the Frostbyte Engine.

FIFA 19 on Nintendo Switch is a more than correct game, at the same time that it penalizes the limitations it has to compare with the rest of the versions. Even so, it is a complete product and intended for all audiences, which meets more than with the intention of satisfying football to lovers of the king sport of our country.

A great evolution from FIFA 18 on Switch. FIFA 19 gets all the new content from Champions League and improves the playability and visual side, but still missing some game modes that are on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

To be fair, FIFA 19 isn´t actually a bad game. For a mobile console FIFA 19 is even a pretty good and fun football package. But the outrageousTo be fair, FIFA 19 isn´t actually a bad game. For a mobile console FIFA 19 is even a pretty good and fun football package. But the outrageous thing of EA is, to sell the 95% exact game year by year for the full price. Except the actual transfers, new player ratings and the official name "Champions League" included, FIFA 19 is exactly the same game as FIFA 18. Same graphics, same gameplay, same problems. If you play FIFA 18 and the next day FIFA 19, there is no chance to see any differences. It feels like a full price player update, which is absolutely not worth the money. The changes are probably worth 15€, but that´s it. If EA won´t change this greedy attitude and include new gameplay to a full price game, this is my last FIFA game for the next few years.
To sum up this review, if you haven´t bought a FIFA game the last years, don´t hesitate to buy FIFA 19, but otherwise save the money, it´s not worth it.

Why are you even looking up FIFA reviews? You know exactly what it is, and you've already formed an opinion on it yourself.

If you're really into football/soccer you'll probably love it.
If you've already played previous FIFA games, it's up to you to decide if a glorified roster update is worth the cost of a full price game.
And if you're not that into football/soccer, you'll probably get bored with it pretty quickly.
