EQQO is a fun puzzlegame that lets you enjoy a strong story about a boy and an egg. The game features more than 30 levels, but takes only four hours to complete. The puzzles are not difficult except a few of them. Because of this, the game never makes you think too long before proceeding through a level. Still EQQO is a game you should definitely try.

We were pleasantly surprised by EQQO. After a rather lacklustre opening segment, the majority of the game proves itself to be an engaging puzzle title with a surprisingly meaningful narrative to support it. If you’re after a challenge, you might want to look elsewhere, but for its price, EQQO is a lovely, relaxing experience that will keep you playing right to the end.

I think this game might be homage to that game. Even beyond the naming Eqqo (pronounced "echo"). The entire game structure and flow makes me nostalgic for Ico. I like this game. Im right near the end of it now. And it has held my attention for the 4 or 5 hours ive put into it so far. With some interesting environments and decent graphics.

There are a few things that really bug me about this game though. The camera /motion controls are incredibly frustrating at times, and sometimes bordering on making the game unplayable. Also the woman/mother's narration throughout the game... is really irritating. I think, like Ico, this game could have went completely silent. With none or barely any text story and would have been better for it. It's a boy in a mysterious empty world. Let the player wonder.

Also near the end, the puzzles start getting really repetitive.

There’s a lot of strange foreshortening and the camera struggles to focus. If it’s on sale and you can struggle through the frustrating camera hiding the puzzle elements, maybe give it a go.
