    Eclipse: Edge of Light is a narrative-led experience in which players race to uncover a tragic tale of power and corruption on an alien world. Originally developed for VR, the title still truly immerses the player from beginning to end on Switch.

    Although Eclipse: Edge of Light is a highly atmospheric game of planetary exploration, it loses its luster when moved from its VR origins to the flat screen of the Nintendo Switch. It’s an easy world to explore for a few hours, but one that offers little overall reward for its $15 asking price.

    And without VR support for this version, there's no way to even pretend you're really some explorer who uncovered an ancient civilization. You just move like someone ancient.
