    Duck souls it's a cute 2D platformer, it's pretty easy but in the last 20 levels there are many obstacols that need a lot of concentration. I've loved the quotes at the start of each level. 73/100

    In short, Duck souls+ is a amazing game I’m a huge fan of platformers and 2D games, it’s one of my favourite genres. I was just browsing the Eshop one day and saw that Duck Souls was on sale. I checked out the store page and saw that it was a cute, tough, 2D platformer. I love ducks and bought this game just so i could feel like a duck. What i wasn’t expecting was one of the bestIn short, Duck souls+ is a amazing game I’m a huge fan of platformers and 2D games, it’s one of my favourite genres. I was just browsing the Eshop one day and saw that Duck Souls was on sale. I checked out the store page and saw that it was a cute, tough, 2D platformer. I love ducks and bought this game just so i could feel like a duck. What i wasn’t expecting was one of the best platformers I’ve ever played. This is a tight, tough game. Dying is very common. I enjoy the movement in this game, you only have a jump, wall jump and a dash, but you can position the dash vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. This simple way of being able to independently move your dash location adds subtle depth to the game. The level design is also top notch. Every single one of the 100 levels are a joy to play and are tough. This game is hard, but not too hard. I’m not throwing my controller at the T.V but i do get slightly angry at certain parts. The game also has many different traps and obstacles that kill you. It introduces them first with simple mechanics and then increasingly makes them tougher and tougher. The game was still introducing mechanics at level 96. And it still retained mechanics it introduced at level 10. This is why I love the game so much. It’s so much fun to move and play and die when you know something new is right around the corner. When you beat the game, the developer gives you a message that warmed my heart. Only one guy made this game, and personally thanked you for playing it. This was the cherry on top. To know that I helped this developer and he thanks me is just so wholesome. I love this game. It’s so well made and so polished that I have to recommend it, also it’s 6 bucks. Now that is a great deal.… Expand

    Duck Souls+ é um daqueles jogos que exigem do player que se adquira um pouco de habilidade para que seja possível passar suas fases. Com uma mecânica simples de pulos e dashs, O jogador deve progredir pelo mapa e desviar de seus obstáculos e armadilhas.
    O jogo possui dois níveis de dificuldade e a única diferença entre eles é que no modo fácil existem checkpoints em locais específicos da    Duck Souls+ é um daqueles jogos que exigem do player que se adquira um pouco de habilidade para que seja possível passar suas fases. Com uma mecânica simples de pulos e dashs, O jogador deve progredir pelo mapa e desviar de seus obstáculos e armadilhas.
    O jogo possui dois níveis de dificuldade e a única diferença entre eles é que no modo fácil existem checkpoints em locais específicos da fase que permitem o jogador a continuar deste ponto caso morra. Já no modo difícil é necessário reiniciar todo o progresso do estágio.
    O estilo artístico simples e em pixel art não deixa nada a desejar, apesar de em alguns momentos eu me pegar procurando o personagem (um patinho) pela tela por conta de suas cores similares a certas partes do mapa.
    Suas músicas são muito agradáveis e aparentemente possuem referências a músicas de outros jogos, posso estar enganado ou ser apenas coincidência mas durante a gameplay, músicas de outros dois jogos passaram por minha mente.
    Falando em referências, não deixe de ler as plaquinhas que estão no início de cada estágio. Tais plaquinhas possuem frases que muitas vezes parecem não fazer sentido e outras vão ativar o modo Steve Rogers em você instantaneamente.    … Expand

    Duck Souls+ is a simple platformer with a cute 8-bit style, fun sense of humour and selection of cool hats to accessorise your duck with. What’s not to like?

    Duck Souls+ is simply great fun. This game is little more than a character with basic moves and 100 levels in which to use them. But those moves feel so right, and those levels are designed around them so well.

    Although nothing revolutionary, Duck Souls+ is a game that successfully manages to create a small and fun puzzle-platforming experience. From the visually appealing retro aesthetic, to the tight controls and focused gameplay, this is a title that is well worth the price of admission, and is a great jumping on point for those who may find the likes of Super Meat Boy and Celeste to be too much of a challenge. While it may not be a standout product in its genre, it's still a fun time to be had, and is a worthy predecessor to its bigger brothers.
