Despite being a licensed tie-in, Dragons: Dawn of New Riders is anything but a broken, half-baked money-grab. It’s not particularly remarkable in its features – and it really misses a trick by not adding more things to do while riding your dragon between dungeons – but for recovering Skylanders fans and those a little too young to go loot crazy in Diablo, this is still a family-friendly adventure that’s well worth your time on Nintendo Switch.

Dreamworks launches a game that is not based on the third How to Train your Dragon, but in its universe. Dragon: Riders of a New Dawn is basically a light version of Diablo and Zelda: a good Dungeon Crawler for kids and parents who want to teach them how to navigate trough this genre. A game that can fly, but at ground level.

A very fun and inventive spin on the franchise. Fun to explore and the puzzles are perfect.

It’s a very easy fun game. It’s by no means challenging but it’s great for younger gamers.
