Disc Jam is a good attempt at combining multiple sports inspirations into a video game, and for the most part Disc Jam achieves this by delivering a solid competitive experience with simple mechanics. The only things that I feel let this game down are its lack of real differentiation between playable character and lack of court designs. The game is good, but it feels a bit simple and safe.

The game is seriously addicting thanks to the gratifying mechanics and simple, fun premise that it’s built on. I can see myself jumping online almost daily to claw my way through the ranks but I do worry that the long wait times for matches will only get worse if High Horse Entertainment don’t manage to pull in some more players. I wish them all the best and hope to see Disc Jam continue to be supported by them for the foreseeable future.

The lacking online player base is a shame because there’s an enjoyable experience to be had here. It nails the easy to pick up, hard to master element that defines all great arcade games. The overall package can feel somewhat barebones but if you’ve got the joy-cons to go around this is a great game to introduce to your next game night.

The audio and visuals get boring fast, but at its core Disc Jam has addictive, solid gameplay, and with competitive cross-platform play, it's definitely worth a crack if you like the idea and want a break from Rocket League.

It has potential, it's easy to play but difficult to master, although unfortunately after playing it the sensation is that it's not being taken advantage of. It ends up being a pleasant and fun game, especially for playing with friends, but its content is slight in general but also especially for a single player.

Pick this up without fear if you know you have friends with whom you'd like to compete. Otherwise you might want to keep a lookout from the sidelines to see how it all plays out.

Quick games when theres enough people online and it can be a chore finding a player to play against
the game takes a while to master and some powerups and moves can leave you looking like a chump if not mastered or countered
at first I destroyed everyone online then I met people who really had powerful moves locked down and used special power moves to whoop me good....it was fun still is
the loot boxes need work free items skins discs ect and its all free
all that's needed is more arenas skins characters apart from that the game runs fast smooth if your connection is good and is so damn addictive you'll want more ...game is not badly priced but I wish it would be on sale more as we need more players in the player base...great game though check out my YouTube channel for more on this game as I stream it quite often

Best competitive sports game on the switch, slightly better than Rocket league for the Switch.
Can really see this game have a long future if it maintains its strong player base.

    Worth the asking price.
