    Its shortcomings far outweigh its merits, but what merits they are - Disaster Report 4 is silly, humane and utterly charming.

    I was looking forward to this game but sadly the gameplay is repetitive, slow paced and shallow. I would also say the graphics are not very good for a modern day game and noticeable slow down and graphical glitches upon nearly every major catastrophe takes away from the immersion of the game. The disaster element of the game is interesting at first however the game is padded out by long fetch quests and guessing the sequence of speaking to people in order to progress to the next area, this is fine for a few scenarios but when it becomes the main gameplay pattern of the game it quickly becomes monotonous and a chore to play. The graphics is ok, but due to the controls, the whole thing comes off as laggy and unpolished. Seems like they are just trying to push out a game. The game play itself is fine, and the reaction of the NPCs and their speeches are accurate to the culture and people, but that's really all the positives I have for this game.… Full Review »

Saying it was rushed or even finished would be an overstatement. Having said that, I really enjoyed it and played it to the end. Some of the stuff that happends is just mental. I've never played anything like it. I was captivated.

    I got it half price, and it was just about worth it. Don't buy it full price and use a guide because some of the "puzzles" literally make no sense, But enjoy the weirdness.    … Full Review »
