The game has crashed on me a number of times, and it freezes completely if I die or reach the end of the level after level 8:4. I have other complaints about the game (like the unconfigurable controls), but they all pale in comparison to the fact that the game is simply not playable beyond a certain point. I would recommend not wasting your money on this crappy port.

Update: the 1.0.1 patch that was just released fixes the crashing issues, so I'm updating my score to 6. If they patch in customizable controls (or just better default controls), I'll change my score to an 8.

Bare-bones port missing several things, which sucks, but not nearly as much not being able to remap the controls.

Imagine playing Call of Duty but firing your weapon is mapped to X and you can't change it. Clustertruck wants you to use FPS controls but put jump on the A button.

Edit: Raised to 5 for the Y-Axis fix. Too bad remapped controls never happened...

I love this game on the XSX - it runs absolutely flawless. Too bad the Switch port is a piece of unoptimized junk. It's still an OK game, but the framerate can drop down in the 10-20s and it's NOT fun when the game already is hard as hell. The Switch is surely powerful enough to be able to run such a game smoothly.

Clustertruck is an incredibly fun game, but the controls and frame rate issues kind of ruin the game.

For me Clustertruck was a pretty good game with issues that I hope are only on the switch version. The first issue I will address is one that if you purchased this game you would already know of the sensitivity of the controls. I have not been able to find the perfect sensitivity for myself and it really hampers the game especially the end. The second issue I had with this game was thatFor me Clustertruck was a pretty good game with issues that I hope are only on the switch version. The second issue I had with this game was that there was no button mapping thankfully now the Nintendo switch has it’s own mapping so that issue is gone. the last issue is the horrible frame rate, the frame rate when there is a lot of trucks and objects on screen the game can go to as low as 5 frames a second and it sucks. If you really want to buy this game then buy it on pc. Expand

The gameplay is incredibly fast and fun. The controls feel good and snappy and are really satisfying. I have to deduct a point for how short the game is and how It's sometimes very laggy. I guess it's mostly the Switch's fault, but they could've optimised it better. Also a specific level is done way way harder because of the lag. I would still recommend it besides It's few flaws.

There is not much to Clustertruck, yet for a game with that kind of title, it is far more enjoyable than it would suggest. This is a silly, arcade-style guilty pleasure that manages to delivers a satisfying laugh and not much else. There is not much substance here, but there is enough that does put it above most Youtube-bait schlock, since it does have a thoughtful rising challenge and unlockable abilities that can offset the unpredictability of the physics engine.

Despite its short run and lack of replayability, Clustertruck is a fun little title for the Nintendo Switch. The simple gameplay allows for some truly hectic moments, while varied level design keeps the action interesting from beginning to end.

Above all else, Clustertruck is simply a fun game to play. Producing many laugh-out-loud moments thanks to its goofy concept, and plenty of satisfying, fast-paced platforming, Clustertruck is a trucking good time despite a couple moments of frustration.
