    I played Child of Light on the PC when it first came out five years ago, and it's Switch port is nothing short of fantastic. A great story that is quite a simple hero's journey, one of the most beautiful art styles I have ever seen in a game, a stunning soundtrack, and an engaging combat system keeps me coming back to Child of Light.     very artistic and a beautiful game, soundtrack is amazing, story is a bit light as expected, pacing is decent and overall a good round 10 hour run, its worth mentioning that there was a lot of frame rate drops in the final act in docked mode.
    My only grip was the battle system which is god awful, its suppose to add strategy but it was just downright annoying, the whole "wait/cast" system    very artistic and a beautiful game, soundtrack is amazing, story is a bit light as expected, pacing is decent and overall a good round 10 hour run, its worth mentioning that there was a lot of frame rate drops in the final act in docked mode.

    This is an amazing little title by Ubisoft. What I would describe it as, is a small little diamond from the massive mountain of dirt.

    This is a game I played on both PC and then on Switch. The art is beautiful and the music is outstanding.
    I enjoyed the world and character design. the game itself is not very long or difficult but it's the right amount to relax and play.

    A beautiful art style that unfortunately cant carry the game`s final third which falls totally flat.
    The story also suffers towards the end of the game.

    It's a game that's aesthetically pleasing and a game that is perfect for a handheld console but it's definitely not for everyone.

    Its lackluster combat and story keeps it from getting a higher score. It's also short (which is to be expected when looking at what it costs) and, at least for me, there's no replayability.

    Not a big fan of side-scrollers, turn-based and puzzle games; not to mention I hate riddles too. But this one is a quality mish-mash of that, packaged in a beautiful art direction.

    Child of Light offers an engaging turn-based combat that sports a unique "timeline" feature, a bottom bar that shows which unit will cast the next move, and is influenced by a handful of gameplay mechanics.

    Well worth the $4.50 I paid for it on sale in the Nintendo store. Walk and float around through the levels, collect goodies and team-mates, battle bad guys (turn-based battle, FWIW). Some blah-blah-blah dialog to click through in places that sometimes intersect with the story and are sometimes more tedious. Beautiful graphics and music make this a dreamy low-key adventure.

    Gran juego, una estética preciosa, personajes interesantes y bien elaborados, una historia muy lograda, así como unas mecánicas muy buenas mezclando las plataformas con el RPG, muy apto para todos los públicos, ya que su dificultad no es muy elevada. Un juego que me sorprendió mucho y el cual recomiendo.

    A thoroughly enjoyable game! Beautiful and a well told plot. I particularly enjoyed the different method of fighting and the ability utilize allies. Each ally brought a different skill to the battle. I never got board with this game and found myself looking forward to playing it again.

    The game is absolutely beautiful. The music is very pleasant, the graphics are awesome, the story is nice and the I loved the dialogues.
    But I think the gameplay is not varied enough. The combat mechanics are great, but there's too many fights with not enough variations in my opinion. Besides, on the Switch, the game is sometimes laggy.

    This game starts out great! Then everything goes wrong.
    Child of Light has great presentation and stuff that feels straight out of old-school Disney movies. I was really intrigued by where everything was going to go. But it didn't go anywhere. This large cast is introduced and none of them get development. I was pretty intrigued by the two world and was excited for world building...but it    This game starts out great!     Honestly, I was surprised I got to the end because nothing happened.
    And the game just falls into pitfalls other RPGs do, like with that large cast I mentioned earlier; I only ever used a few of them.

    Good music, good story and nice gameplay.

    There is some bumbs here and there, and i admit that i dropped this game a few times before finishing it, but its well worth trying it.

    The way battling is done in this game is so engaging. For some reason this game reminds me of Paper Mario.

    Beau, poétique, bon gameplay, j'ai adoré

    Si je dois décrire les combats, un peu grossièrement, ça me fait penser à Pokémon. Avec des mécaniques supplémentaires mais en gros c'est ça, et ça fonctionne grave bien ! Hesitez pas à pousser les difficulté, c'est vraiment pas hardcore

    Child of Light is a well-crafted action RPG that boasts some marvelous visuals and an outstanding soundtrack and matches them with an interesting, albeit not very varied combat system. The game may be over four years old by now but it certainly remains an RPG that can be easily recommended, even if its plot is not as involving as it should.
