    While there is fun to be had with Breakout Recharged, I really can’t suggest you go out and buy it at lunch. At $10 the game is simply overpriced and not worth your time. When the game is finally on sale, that would be the best time to experience this version of Breakout. Otherwise there’s a really good Atari Flashback Collection on Switch, which is a much better investment to enjoy these classic games.

    Breakout Recharged can be fun, but it doesn't have high value and can be hard to recommend.

    Honestly I am pretty disappointed by this one. I bought all the other games in the Atari Recharged series, and IMO this is the worst one. TheHonestly I am pretty disappointed by this one. The others seemed to do a great job of sticking to the original games but giving them an updated look and a few updates to the gameplay here and there. I suppose this does the same sort of thing, but I find it to be far less satisfying. I think they messed with the formula a bit too much and the lack of touch screen support stands out to be a real issue here. So yeah, I am just not a fan of this one. I would recommend any of the others over this.… Full Review »
