Bonito Days is definitely designed for a multiplayer experience, but what an experience! Ideal physics, gorgeously stylised locales, some of the catchiest music to grace a game this year, and clever little gimmicks for each stage. The camera in ball mode and the more limited single player content is the only thing keeping me from giving this a perfect 10. A very strong start by Studio Somewhere, who I hope strike gold, especially given Super Monkey Ball, Banana Mania's recent mistakes with Monkey Target. Expand

Bonito Days is a fantastic soundtrack with amazing artwork, wrapped up in a pretty okay game. If you’re looking for a chill-vibe party game to play with your housemates, the local multiplayer is an enjoyable and worthy experience.

Bonito Days is a super cute and simple game that is reminiscent of Super Monkey Ball, but with camera issues and short single-player game it’s hard to fully recommend.

Bonito Days is one of the chillest games on Nintendo Switch. You guide a flying fish through a pastel cel-shaded world, collecting points and aiming for the high score in the middle of the ocean. It takes the best of Monkey Target from Super Monkey Ball, throws in a little NiGHTS into Dreams flair, and finishes off the whole package with a smooth city pop soundtrack.
