Apr 22, 2021The big question we need to answer here is whether they're worth another dip? If you've missed the Mysterious trilogy so far (perhaps you're a newer fan due to Ryza), then absolutely. If you are an Atelier fan, then having Firis and Sophie on the Switch for the first time is a nice deal, and the photo mode and art books, in particular, are a bonus worth playing with. These are all genuine five-star games and that needs to be remembered... though its also worth remembering that these are all JRPGs, with time commitments to match, and we're being inundated with those this year. That's the only possible dampener for what is otherwise an excellent collection of wonderful games.

Apr 26, 2021All three games in the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack are a joy to dive into, whether you’re exploring them for the first time or revisiting some not-to-old friends. The new additions bring a lot to what were already delightful games to begin with, and to finally have all three games on Switch makes for a nice, convenient way to visit (or revisit) some real gems. And hey—now that Mysterious Trilogy is done, maybe Koei Tecmo will turn its eyes to the PS2 games? I sure could go for some Atelier Iris on my Switch…

Apr 25, 2021Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack brings the best of the franchise to a brand new console. Atelier Sophie is an iconic piece of the series with a brand new lease on life, Atelier Firis has unique exploration gameplay that hasn't been attempted in any other entry, and the new story content in Atelier Lyde & Suelle is a delight for longtime fans. These games have never looked better, and are a must-play for anyone interested in the Atelier series.

Apr 22, 2021There is much to love about the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack: it provides excellent value for money with the original games ported over along with new content. There is easily over one hundred hours of gaming to be had, exploring the world with Sophie, Firis, plus Lydie and Suelle is an ideal package for returning and new fans of the Atelier series. Sophie's initial lack of outstanding personality, frame rate drops in more crowded areas of the games plus the obvious improvement of graphics that comes with time and better technology in the second and third game is no reason to be hesitant in buying what is a piece of Atelier paradise.

Jun 27, 2021The Atelier series keeps growing on Nintendo Switch with the Mysterious Trilogy. Adding some new content and cute digital artbooks, it's yet another product that the fans of the series will gladly enjoy while waiting for the next game.

Jun 28, 2021Atelier Mysterious Trilogy DX is a brilliant package that makes for a wonderful return to three excellent titles, as well as a great starting point for newcomers to the series.

May 15, 2021Four captivating heroines, new content for each game and lots of gameplay time guarantee three fantastic journeys into distinct worlds of alchemy that intertwine with each other and can make our quest of alchemic perfection a rather enjoyable one. Players who are ready to forgive some technical hiccups, the lack of challenge and the repetitiveness of the gameplay are due to a magical experience.

Apr 27, 2021In my opinion, the games in this trilogy get a little better with each installment, but they more or less fall into the same ballpark of quality. Perhaps less accessible than the Ryza games, but well worth diving into for RPG fans.

Apr 23, 2021Is Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack right for you? Probably. Each of these three games offers up a content-rich and enjoyable story that should take you a few dozen hours to see through. On the other hand, the slower paced slice-of-life vibe isn’t for everyone and the game elements beyond the robust crafting system can feel a little simplistic sometimes. Either way, it’s tough to argue against the value on offer here, and we’d recommend that you at least try one of these titles if you don’t spring for the whole trilogy.

Apr 22, 2021Atelier Mysterious Trilogy offers up a lot of fun, though it might be frustrating at times. I think it’s a nice game to play a bit of at a time, each day, rather than all in one sitting. Not having a hard and fast time limit is definitely a perk. But there are still many little things that frustrated me at times while I immersed myself in the mysterious world of Atelier Mysterious Trilogy.
-
Apr 22, 2021The Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack on Nintendo Switch finally gives fans of portable gaming worthy conversions of the three modern Atelier games and the improvements to Atelier Lydie & Suelle, DLC included, new content, and quality of life features only elevate this package further.
-
Apr 22, 2021The Atelier Mysterious Trilogy is a piece of Atelier history marked by plenty of ups and downs, but that's probably what made diving into the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack all the sweeter. I genuinely enjoyed all of the content that it had to offer—both new and old—and I'm sure that most other fans will, too. Plus, it's pretty hard to beat the fact that you're getting bonus content within each of the games at a reduced price.
-
May 18, 2021This triple pack of Atelier games will offer any fans of the series exactly what they're looking for, though they aren't the best starting point for a newcomer. In the time since their original release, the games have only gotten older, and poor load times and occasional framerate issues are something they really shouldn't suffer from. Still, these are cosy, quiet, heartfelt, and imaginative games, and it is nice to see them back.
-
May 17, 2021If crafting is your thing, you probably won’t be disappointed with Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack. In the end, I still enjoy this series as a JRPG fan, even though there are grind issues.
