    Angels of Death is a horror-adventure game that intrigues from the very start. A must-have for fans of psychological and physical horror that'll have you playing until the very early hours of the morning.

    Angels of Death is a game made with RPG Maker, so it is visually very simple. Music does not help either. The plot may well be the best part together with the well-worked characters. So if you're just looking for these aspects, this is your game.

    The game itself is a noble effort, sure, but ultimately far too ambitious to achieve what it’s really looking to achieve. The end result is the death knell for horror games; it’s just not intense or frightening enough.

A protagonist with convenient amnesia; an antihero who is more tender than his gruff façade; far too many villain monologues; a main baddie who delights in philosophy 101; another villain who can't seem to stay dead; and a twist we all saw coming. The animated adaption of Angels of Death at least looks nice and features a competent voice cast. The video game version is boring at best and cringeworthy the rest of the time. For a game which takes it edginess too seriously, it lacks any scares or gore to give it teeth, and no one needs to waste their time being gummed to death.… Expand
