Oct 10, 2025Death on the Nile modernizes Agatha Christie’s classic mystery with engaging detective mechanics and a fresh 1970s flair. The dual storylines offer two lenses into the same mystery, even if the frequent switches between them occasionally interrupt the flow. Still, the game’s standout mechanics—the mindmap, timeline reconstructions, and clever puzzles—make every chapter feel purposeful and rewarding. Even if you’re not an Agatha Christie fan, this one is worth unraveling the layered mysteries; just prepare yourself for the twist at the end.

Oct 9, 2025Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile is a smart and thoughtful reimagining of the classic novel. The shift to the 1970s and the addition of a new protagonist breathe fresh life into a familiar tale. While the gameplay conforms to genre conventions, its mechanics are executed with care, resulting in an engaging and intriguing adventure that keeps you invested from start to finish. Despite some stiff animations and occasional pacing issues, this remains a grand journey, and one of Poirot’s finest outings in the medium.

Oct 8, 2025Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile translates its ’70s setting into a fun audio-visual package. The mysterious characters (fully voiced) are well-developed, giving the game a page-turning quality. You’ll want to see them reach their conclusions, no matter the outcome. A few well-meaning but ultimately unfortunate choices knock the game down from great to just good, and I suspect this will fare less positively with Christie purists, given some of the liberties. But I think most players will get their money’s worth at $39.99, and the game’s replay value only sweetens the deal. The overall experience delivers an uneven, albeit high-quality, memorable mystery adventure.
