    This is an empty game, mainly because of how the player interacts with the gameplay via an input device (gamepad/etc). A computer can easily compute the optimal path of the golf ball in this game to always score a birdie, even if pseudo-random numbers are involved. The highlights of competing players' gameplay feel artificial because of the simplicity of the underlying algorithms. Commentator dialogues contain a very limited set of sentences for the game engine to choose from, and the algorithm involves only a rudimentary form of artificial intelligence.
