    No. It doesn't have raytracing on Stadia. But I'll explain why that doesn't matter so much.

    There are few games that have captivated me so much and that I have finished so often. Control is one of them. When it was released on Xbox I bought the Ultimate Edition on Epic because of the raytracing. I then played it on Geforce Now. It looks good. No question about it. The effects make    No. It doesn't have raytracing on Stadia. But I'll explain why that doesn't matter so much.

    There are few games that have captivated me so much and that I have finished so often. Control is one of them. When it was released on Xbox I bought the Ultimate Edition on Epic because of the raytracing. I then played it on Geforce Now. It looks good. No question about it. The effects make sense. But one thing should be clear. The impact in this game is relatively small. I find that one misses little, one should prefer the Stadia version. On the contrary.

    The Stadia version runs stable, looks good and has a high level of detail in both 1080p and 4K. The advantages are clearly the ease of use of the app, fast switching of devices and very good technical background. Therefore, I finish the Ultimate version now a 4th time on Stadia and can say that it is my favorite of all versions!

    However, the Nintendo Switch version beats all others with richer colors. You have to give it that.

    Nein. Es hat kein Raytracing auf Stadia. Warum das aber nicht so sehr ins Gewicht fällt erkläre ich euch.

    Es gibt wenige Spiele die mich so sehr gefesselt haben und die ich so oft beendet habe. Control gehört dazu. Zum Release auf der Xbox gespielt habe ich mir wegen Raytracing die Ultimate Edition auf Epic geholt. Gespielt habe ich es dann auf Geforce Now. Es sieht gut aus. Keine Frage. Die Effekte haben durchaus seinen Sinn. Aber eines sollte klar sein. Der Einfluss in diesem Spiel ist relativ gering. Ich finde das einen wenig entgeht, sollte man die Stadia Version bevorzugen. Im Gegenteil.

    Die Stadia Version läuft stabil, sieht gut aus und hat sowohl in 1080p als auch in 4K einen hohen detailgrad. Die Vorzüge sind klar die einfache Handhabung der App, schnelles wechseln der Geräte und sehr guter technischer Background. Deshalb beende ich die Ultimate Version jetzt ein 4. mal auf Stadia und kann sagen das es mir von allen Versionen die liebste ist!

    Allerdings schlägt die Nintendo Switch Version alle anderen mit satteren Farben. Das muss man ihr lassen.    … Expand

    9/10 ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN This game is an architect's wet dream. The use of brutalism and classic "American corporate" styles as the embodiment of a paranormal living version of the CIA/FBI is pure genius. This is backed by near perfect graphics design, sound design, pacing and atmosphere. As a sort of advanced walking-simulator    If I could, I would give this game both a 9 AND a 6:

    This game is an architect's wet dream. The use of brutalism and classic "American corporate" styles as the embodiment of a paranormal living version of the CIA/FBI is pure genius. This is backed by near perfect graphics design, sound design, pacing and atmosphere.
    As a sort of advanced walking-simulator with a bit of shooting and platforming thrown in, I would find this game near-perfect. It is a masterpiece of post-cold-war fantastical atmosphere.

    6/10 MEDIOCRE SHOOTER

    Except for the stellar design of weapon/skill "impact feel" (mostly thanks to great visual and sound design), this game is just not that great of a shooter. It is decent... but that's it. Combat rapidly gets tedious, which just gets reinforced by infinitely repeating activities and missions getting added to the mix later in the game. The platforming is actually relatively fun, but also gets old quite fast. If anything, the gameplay is just a decent excuse for the story and atmosphere... but it's much too present to serve that role properly.
    Some rare unique fights are worth the effort and spectacle.

    Play it for the atmosphere, not for the gameplay.    … Expand

    Never played the game before. Great story!
    I think Nolan have played to inspire for Tenet.
    Still, I'm utterly disappointed with the graphics quality of this game on Stadia.
    It doesn't matter if I run it on 30fps or 60fps the game visuals poor below the quality average I got used to on the platform.
    Also, it doesn't have HDR.
    The game is not that old but it does look like from ten years ago

    This game has a wonderful story, and powers that make you feel unstoppable; and you very well can be unstoppable! There are settings to help you make the game easier or more difficult, giving you control over how much damage you take and how much damage the enemies take. You truly can make this game your own.     Control is a finely tuned accumulation of everything Remedy has learned over the years put into one neat package. Its cryptic narrative can be confusing at first but quickly pans out as the story unfolds. Jesse’s unlockable abilities make you feel like a superhero battling the bad guys.

    Control est un véritable chef d’oeuvre. En compagnie de Jesse Faden, vous allez plonger dans un univers surnaturel et surréaliste qui ne vous laissera pas indifférent. Entre ses gunfights haletants, la montée en puissance de son héroïne et ses pouvoirs grisants et son histoire qui flirte avec les meilleurs récits du genre, on vit une épopée narrative, certes un peu linéaire, mais hors duControl est un véritable chef d’oeuvre. En compagnie de Jesse Faden, vous allez plonger dans un univers surnaturel et surréaliste qui ne vous laissera pas indifférent. Entre ses gunfights haletants, la montée en puissance de son héroïne et ses pouvoirs grisants et son histoire qui flirte avec les meilleurs récits du genre, on vit une épopée narrative, certes un peu linéaire, mais hors du commun dans ce bâtiment qui l'est tout autant, plongé dans une ambiance incroyable retranscrite à merveille grâce à des jeux de lumière saisissants et une direction artistique de haut vol. On regrettera cependant un portage sur Stadia un peu feignant qui s’en sort aussi bien en mode Graphismes qu’il fait le strict minimum en mode Performances.     Free with stadia pro subscription, one of the best titles in the bunch,

    I am doing side missions just to make sure I dont finish the game because its so much fun

    The atmosphere of the game is incredible, mostly thank to the hissing sounds that walks everywhere with you. The story is so intriguing, full of weirdness. Somehow it reminds me of a Resident Evil meeting Tomb Raider.

    I mean...wow. Just wow. Gorgeously-rendered environments, fantastic gameplay with controls that feel second-nature. The story is X-Files if Scully had telekinetic powers. It is so satisfying to blast away with a pistol one minute, then grab a chunk of rock and whirl it at your opponents the next. I played this for a hot minute on Xbox One and was mightily impressed...except for the loadingI mean...wow. Just wow.     Thank you, thank you, Stadia. I have been waiting for this to come to Stadia because I am one of the many people with that bug that causes all the textures in the game to become a muddy mess. I bought an RTX card just to play this game on PC and I could never even get to enjoy it because of the bug (which still exists). So I was hoping it would come to Stadia even though I knew it wouldn'tThank you, thank you, Stadia. I have been waiting for this to come to Stadia because I am one of the many people with that bug that causes all the textures in the game to become a muddy mess. I bought an RTX card just to play this game on PC and I could never even get to enjoy it because of the bug (which still exists). So I was hoping it would come to Stadia even though I knew it wouldn't have ray tracing (which I turned off anyway as it didn't add enough to offset the performance hit). The game does not disappoint! It is such a fluid blend of sci-fi and shooter that a lot of the time while I am playing I am like, 'damn how did they nail this so well.' The fluidness of the combat between a weighty weapon and even heavier telekinetic powers that feel like they look. A superb game and if you are like me and prefer quality you can have it at a steady 30 fps comparable to the best settings on PC without the massive hardware cost! At this point, I actively hope every game I want to play comes to Stadia because I have all but stopped buying them anywhere else. (looking at you FFXIV)… Expand

    This is the first game on Stadia pro that I finished. The setting and storyline is fascinating, the aesthetic is both bleak and beautiful, the action is satisfying.

    Well worth your time.
