Bluefire is a precise platformer - I like to compare it to a 3D version of Celeste! It has a similar fun-factor and precise platforming feel and challenge. You can upgrade your character's ability in a bunch of different ways that keep the game feeling new and fun as you progress.

The graphics and design are beautiful and the "feel" of the game is smooth/fluid. It generally plays

This isn't a RDR2 level AAA masterpiece, but for 10-20 hours of challenging platforming fun, this is a great game. It is the type of game that makes you a better gamer for playing.

I know a lot of people liked this game I found it boring AF. To each their own.

This is a cute and awesome little game. I have really enjoyed playing it. Its not too graphic so fun for any age! If you have not played it yet you should!

An exhausting 3D platformer in a comic-like castlevania world.
In order to get skills and equipment you have to solve intermediate levels, where jumping and using your talents wisely is very important.
Very difficult to master, but doable with a lot of ambition.

Gratis al day one con la sottoscrizione a Stadia Pro ho trovato questo gioco fantastico. Unica pecca, dura troppo poco: finito a 8 ore dall'uscita. Consigliatissimo

I love the way the game looks and feels and the amount of character customization from cosmetics to weaponry is fantastic. Penumbra is a haunting world that is filled with lots to see and do. For those looking for a challenge, Blue Fire offers up some challenging 3D platforming that is sure to keep you on your toes.

Blue Fire looks fantastic. It really does. Game play looks great and feels good. I am able to move a out and fight well. But the platforming is really awkward and frustrating. I have no idea how to progress from my current location and getting lost is the norm. I tapped out on this game not my cup of tea.

This is a solid throwback to older 3D action/platform games from the PlayStation 2 era; and as such it is a frank success; this said, it also suffers from many of the flaws of games of that era: platforming is not always obvious, combat can get janky if the camera doesn't play nice, and exploration sometimes can get a bit confusing (with a lot more verticality and branching routes thanThis is a solid throwback to older 3D action/platform games from the PlayStation 2 era; and as such it is a frank success; this said, it also suffers from many of the flaws of games of that era: platforming is not always obvious, combat can get janky if the camera doesn't play nice, and exploration sometimes can get a bit confusing (with a lot more verticality and branching routes than expected, to the point of confusion in some areas).
The game also clearly borrows from the "souls-like" genre in how it handles death, health and currency; which works quite well.

I would only really recommend it if you are already a fan of this genre of action-platformer; but if you are, it is quite fun!

A very interesting and beautiful platformer. The time I had playing was great and the puzzle levels were the right mix of frustrating and satisfying. Minor issue is that it failed to keep my attention but honestly, that's difficult nowadays.

The mechanics and platforming are very fun, the graphics are great (4k@60 if I'm not mistaken).
The difficulty and lack of guidance make the game quite frustrating sadly, wasn't able to finish after several ragequits

I very much liked Blue Fire, but it proved to be too hard for me, so I can only really review the first few levels.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It had a couple of annoying bugs, but generally it was challenging and fun. The various ability unlocks were interesting and the various progression systems were compelling.

Blue Fire is fundamentally a 3D action platformer with a souls-like feel to it. Not only is the theming a kind of cute take on souls-like worlds, but it also features the bonfire mechanic (albeit in the form of shrines) and there is no map. The platforming is also exceptionally difficult, but satisfying when you finally get it right.

Play this game, but not on STADIA!
Because of the bloom (which turns the image very muddy when combined with streaming compression) and a bit of small input lag (which comes from streaming games) some of the most fun bonus levels are almost incompletable.

If you ever wanted a 3D-Platformer with Zelda dungeons and combat which implements elements from Hollow Knight, Dark Souls and A Hat in Time then this game is for you. Enough said.
This game was clearly made with passion and I can't wait for the next thing from this studio.

    Pros:
    - Great interconnected world and level design
    - Fluid platforming and combat gameplay
    - Always fair (your deaths are always your own fault)
    - Very hard bonus levels... still amazed I got through all of them.
    - Good game length (about 10 hours when completing the story, all sidequests, getting all items and completing the dlc)
    - Multiple difficulty options, which actually change the leveldesign
    - Secret rubber ducks :)

    Cons:
    - This game is very bad to speedrun because of a load of small problems (If ROBI Studios reads this, then PLEASE add an options to skip ALL cutscenes!)
    - Limited replayability (the difficulty options and perma-death mode are nice, but some challenge modes, a cheat menu, boss rush or a new game plus would be greatly appreciated)
    - The bloom and glaring whiteness of the voids can be too much at times. Had to switch from the Stadia to the Steam version because the visibility was just too bad in certain voids)

Blue Fire is like if you took Ocarina of Time-era Hyrule and broke it up into a thousand platforms. As cool as that might sound, the game's difficulty varies wildly, and it's easy to get lost since there's no map in this Stadia version.
