Games Master UKPersevere with teh D-pad/analogue nubbin purgatory and you'll discover a great PES. [Jan 2007, p.78]
-
Yes, the loading times are a pain but do they ruin the experience as a whole? Not at all. Yes, the AI seems a little weaker than the PS2 version but is it really that noticeable? No, especially at the higher difficulty settings.
-
PSM3 Magazine UKIt's by no means perfect, but PES6 is the best footie game on PSP and is essential for fans of the series. [Christmas 2006, p.88]
-
If you've been suffering with the last version in whatever form, success will be a lot sweeter for it, too.
-
A solid – often brilliant – simulation, which for some may prove a little too realistic for its own good.
-
PES fans disappointed by last year's PSP game should be a lot happier with PES 6. Until a handheld is released with a full complement of buttons it's unlikely that we'll receive a 100% accurate console to handheld port, but PES 6 plays a great game of football in its own right.
-
AceGamezThe controls are a problem, but if you can persevere with them there's an excellent game waiting to be enjoyed - and one where the only minimal thing is the number of degrees you are from reality.
-
Official Playstation 2 Magazine UKThe flaws have been fixed and it's now bursting with the quality you'd expect, but it's still just a trimmed version of the PS2 game. [Jan 2007, p.78]
-
Pure Magazine UKBetter than before. Just lacks that little something extra to make it an absolute screamer. [Jan 2007, p.54]
-
Providing you can get your head around the overly crammed control system and slightly iffy player intelligence, the addition of Master League mode should provide many a pleasant train journey.
