It's funny, addicting, and well designed and is a real bargain for PSP owners looking for something off the beaten path.
-
My Lord 2 includes everything worthwhile from its predecessor and builds on top of that grand foundation; there's simply no need to go back to the first.
-
This game could be even harder than Chuck Norris. Well, that's typically NIS! Frustration never was so sweet, and the gameplay about building an own food chain around an ecosystem is very addictive.
-
Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)With many new monsters, a vastly improved progress system, and the full original game (as a UMD-only unlockable), this is one worthy sequel--good enough that we might even be able to remember it entire name this time around. [Jun 2010, p.78]
-
Although Nippon Ichi didn't develop What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2,-NIS America just published it-the game is still a natural, if steep, Nippon Ichi-themed progression in teaching me to think for myself.
-
Edge MagazineThere's loads to do here. [June 2010, p.105]
-
Even if you have the first game, you will be laughing out loud due to the awesome comedy that this game employs.
-
Luckily, while the updates haven't exactly made it more "user friendly," they've cleaned things up just enough to make it a slightly easier to get into.
-
Play UKDevilishly addictive and challenging. [Issue#192, p.89]
-
Easy to play in small and long doses.
-
Still, if you're looking for a game you can come back to time and again, something you plan to beat over the course of a long period of time, My Lord 2 is a great option.
-
It cannot be said enough, though: My Lord?! 2 isn't for the weak-minded or uninitiated. It's directly catered to hardcore gamers who have the patience and willingness to come back for second and third attempts at completing a stage.
-
Games Master UKA self-consciously retro and witty little strategy action game. [July 2010, p.96]
