Fun for a while, then it gets VERY boring and repetitive. Bad replay value and the extra modes all suck.

Difficulty of the game is ridiculously hard when your playing against bosses while you're driving slower vehicles which have no chance of outrunning them. The bosses..especially dark tooth can catch up to you in a matter of seconds, and just chew the s*** out of you, and you have no chance of fighting back..i even put the difficulty on super easy..and i still had alot of trouble with Difficulty of the game is ridiculously hard when your playing against bosses while you're driving slower vehicles which have no chance of outrunning them. The controls are not very user friendly either..why cant they just have one brake button instead of one for stopping and one for sharp turns? sometimes ill just end up going in reverse because pressing down on the joystick slightly stops your car and backs it. The cars are not very well balanced either some are clearly in a disadvantage while others are far too strong. Expand

I'm going to be honest when I review this, Twisted Metal: Head-On isn't anywhere as good as any other Twisted Metal game. The controls are floaty and the graphics are poor when compared to other games on the PSP such as Burnout legends. Now Head-on is not like that, its slow, way too lose in gameplay, dull and the explosions are somewhat not impressive. This is not a good game, no matter how you serve it. Expand

This was one of the first PSP games I played and I have to say the PSP is not a DS. Besides the fact that I am a huge Nintendo fan and I really just like Sony, the problem with this game is that the controls are not to my liking. Besides that the characters that are not Sweet tooth are just not that interesting at all. The game should be called Sweet Tooth: I'm the best driver ever!!!!This was one of the first PSP games I played and I have to say the PSP is not a DS. This game was very boring and I feel like the game designer tried to hard to make this game edgy and dark. The Graphics look horrible and the music sounds like it is straight out of the Crow. The story is nothing important at all, like who cares about some crazy guys freaking wish! Avoid this game at all cost, also the other games in the series are just as bad. Expand

Where as playing Head-On alone has its moments, playing with seven other Twisted friends via wireless connectivity is a blast. Blowing up each other with an onslaught of weaponry from steroid-induced wheels never grows tired. There is no slowdown, and the pace is just as quick as if you're playing the computer.
  2. A colorful cast of characters, a great presentation, exciting shooting action, and support for wireless multiplayer competition over the Internet combine to make this game one of the safest bets you can place when choosing your first PSP games.

In spite of a lacking co-op mode, Twisted Metal: Head-On offers plenty of replay value and classic fun.
