  1. With its advanced adaptive learning system, Stacked probably offers the best single-player Texas Hold 'em game currently available.
  2. I really liked how it handled the actual gameplay, but the interface issues did really disappoint me.
  3. Stacked presents itself as a typical game of poker, but thanks to an intriguing artificial intelligence system, it plays things much smarter than your average poker title.

Despite some minor technical and presentation flaws, an advanced AI and deep focus on one style of poker should not only keep fans interested, but actually help them to improve their real-life poker experience.
  5. I just wished the developers could have ironed out the rough edges a bit more before releasing it, as it is, I am left unfulfilled.
  6. The AI is relatively smart, Daniel's in-game help is most usually helpful (it's not always right on the money but there's some solid advice most times) and the ability to sync your PSP game with your PS2 game is a god-send for anyone that wants to continue to play their game on the go and vice-versa.
  7. The strength of STACKED's AI is what holds the game up. The presentation is lackluster, the audio basic and the character creation severely lacking. Even with all that, this is still the best poker game out there. It's just not a must-have.
  8. The graphics are average and the sound is ok but the gameplay is engaging as it becomes more challenging the more you play and advance through career mode.
  9. We're not thrilled with the limited character creation options and we don't understand why every time we opt for an AdHoc or Wi-Fi game, the game forces a full system reset.
  10. It's not a bad PSP game of Poker. It's just not that good either.

Its AI is mostly solid, but it generally doesn't play aggressively enough to put a whole lot of pressure on you, allowing you to sit back and dictate the course of play. The presentation on a whole is either poor and/or awkward.
  12. I’m just as surprised as you may be to hear that the replay value I found in Stacked is actually quite high.
  13. 40
Ultimately, Stacked is just another poker game with a "poker celebrity" face.

Heh, hilarious as it is to write a review in 2023 for this game, I thought I'd add one with a spare minute. Let's take a moment to laugh atHeh, hilarious as it is to write a review in 2023 for this game, I thought I'd add one with a spare minute. Let's take a moment to laugh at the people from 2006 complaining about this game, it's delay, it's graphics, and it's poor online. Their computers are full of viruses from limewire, and they're paying thousands of dollars for games I can store and emulate on my phone. They would cry if they could see how trite their reviews seems, especially since poker games haven't advanced at all since then.

Are there frills? No. Is it pretty or cool? No. Is it anything like real poker? Nothing really is. But IF you want a poker game, somehow this game is still as good as other things I've tried. The AI is great.
