Play UKIt's so obviously a "Micro Machines" rip off that it's just insulting. [Issue 144, p.92]
-
If you like mediocrity and stupid storylines, this game is definitely for you.
-
Pocket Racers was made for the holiday rush as a cheap, new game that could be shoveled out to parents, resulting in sad kids who have just become victims of the shovelware industry yet again.
-
Pocket Racer[s] screams budget title in every way. The gameplay is generic even by mid-’90s standards, the graphics are bland, and the sound will leave you wanting a lot more.
-
Unless you have some sort of sheer morbid curiosity to see a game with what is one of the worst possible stories ever, there is nothing here worth buying.
-
Incredibly easy to use driving flop.
-
Fans of sluggish frame rates and clichéd combat racers pay attention: Pocket Racers is the game for you.
-
Online minigames and a decent selection of cars don’t save Pocket Racers from being one of the worst rubber-burners on Sony’s portable system.
-
If you've played a weapon-based racer before, you've already played something worth going back to before wandering into the budget-priced land of Pocket Racers.
-
It loads and plays, that's about all it has going for it.
-
Even at a low price point, fans are better off avoiding this one.
