Not much to say: terrible graphics with always the same storyline: this game does not add anything from the original exept new cars maps. Better the DS version.

Seems that this new NFS doesnt exactly break any new grounds , this pretty much is another Most Wanted, but that doesnt mean that the game is bad, the game is very enjoyable despite its flaws. One of the problems conscrening this game is the fact that there seems to be a frame-rate problem. About every 3 seconds the game seems to drop down from 30frps to around 20frps, its pretty annoying Seems that this new NFS doesnt exactly break any new grounds , this pretty much is another Most Wanted, but that doesnt mean that the game is bad, the game is very enjoyable despite its flaws. One of the problems conscrening this game is the fact that there seems to be a frame-rate problem. About every 3 seconds the game seems to drop down from 30frps to around 20frps, its pretty annoying at first but you'll get use to it, so in this game you wont actually get the same smooth gameplay like you did in most wanted or carbon. Another issue is that the Opponents A.I. dont seem to be improved. they do avoid you and go around you, thats normal, but they dont see the traffic they dont even change directions when a oncoming car is approaching them. but one of the features thats very fun is the cops, they are a bit smarter then most wanted, but there still a bit off, also they do seem to avoid traffic. One of the things i love about Undercover is the fact that you can race 5 other opponents and have cops on, the max number of cops is 3, so it feels like your racing 8 other people, it adds alot of thrill to the game. but sadly undercover is still the "same old same old" they still ported some cars from previous games, and sounds as well. But the game is pretty great despite its issues. As an NFS fan that has been playin NFS since hot pursuit (psx), i have to say that this will be a fun game for those have been around the NFS scene for a while, but it may not be so great for new comers. Overall its pretty great, and thats why i give it a 7 out of 10. Expand

Now this counts for the PSP version okay? I'm not sure if the non-portable is not good, but here's what I thought of it. BAD. It's really slow, graphics suck, (though it is PSP, it's even worse) awful handling, etc. It's not nearly as good as the other NFS games. But it is ok and at least it kills time, that's what portable game are for.

Decent game, but definitely much better than the PS2 version. People who say handling is bad in this version are dumb, I actually had more control over the car than in other versions (handling was too responsive for me in the PC version). The customization is surprisingly good for a PSP game, the cops are fine, engine sounds are a mixed bag, some of the are okay, and some of them are badDecent game, but definitely much better than the PS2 version. There's nothing exciting or notable about Need for Speed Undercover on the PSP whatsoever. The formula is essentially that of an old list-based racer with zero substance or style, faulty controls and piss-poor AI. There's no draw here whatsoever.
  2. The worst PSP version of Need for Speed to date, Need for Speed Undercover feels like a muddled attempt to revive the spirit of past glories.
  3. Quite possibly one of the weakest entries in the Need for Speed franchise, Undercover for the PSP is an unexciting racing game with very little to offer longtime fans of the series.
