-
A wonderfully unique and well presented title, the presentation is wonderful, the action fast paced and the experience is an addictive one.
-
Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess is a great game. It's funny, pretty, and addictive if you love platforming. If you're mad enough to try and unlock every medal and nail every level, you'll be playing this one for quite sometime.
-
I wished for more than five levels, but it is a mini game after all. This title is definitely worth its low price, in fact it is ideal for playing on the go. The difficulty is fairly high, but is much fun too, just a fantastic mix
-
EurogamerBrimming with character and a knowing wit, Monsters is almost an essential purchase. With a focused appeal, and an immediate, addictive set of mechanics, this is (probably) the best PSP Mini game to date.
-
A platformer that admits it (probably) doesn't need an epic story.
-
games(TM)One of the most refreshingly amusing titles currently available on Sony's online service. [July 2010, p.126]
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKInto cult classic territory. [July 2010, p.107]
-
Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess is a comical title that is great for gamers who want a quick time waster or for the perfectionist looking for top scores.
-
PSM3 Magazine UKMakes the most of its simple mechanics. [June 2010, p.98]
-
Monsters (probably) stole my princess is an addictive game, which is way too short unfortunately. You will spend some time trying to get the top scores and the perfect combos, so because of this and its low price, it's definitely worth a shot.
-
It feels a lot like a 99c iPhone game from a year ago (you'd expect more variety from a 99c iPhone game today), making it disappointingly low value at PSN prices. It does what it does well enough, but it's super niche and probably of interest to relatively few.
-
A simple yet fresh, funny and well polished take on classic tower jump gameplay.
-
Overall, the game is a fairly fun little ride thanks to its variety of gameplay and nicely designed cartoonish environments, but the puzzles are often too simple, making for a very short game.
-
That said, should you have a penchant for beating your personal score and an extra 240 points to spare, then this Indie outing may well be worth a look. Everyone else can (probably) leave the princess with the monsters.
-
Its flawed-yet-enjoyable core experience means Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess is charming but also frustrating.
-
PC Gamer UKBecomes obscure and irritating. [July 2010, p.54]
-
Games Master UKRather boring. [July 2010, p.93]
-
The campaign can be completed in about 10 minutes and past that, it's much of the same throughout all the other modes.
