  1. As its designer says, Invizimals is about bringing back your inner child spirit. And the game clearly has that special touch, that we could define as 'magic'.
  2. 90
Invizimals bets for creativity, illusion and fantasy. It's not an adaptation of a known formula to a different hardware, but a discovery.
  3. Simply mount the cam up on your PSP and you will get addicted to this game!
  4. Invizimals hints at better things to come, but you may as well get in on the ground floor and start rounding up these creatures before they overrun your household.

InviZimals is a sort of monster collection game just like Pokémon, but in this game you have to find the monsters with de PSP GO!Cam in your room, kitchen or garden. The monsters are everywhere and once you've collected them you can train them and let them battle against other monsters.

  8. Invizimals is an original proposal that tries to become in the Pokémon of the 21st century. The PSP camera is the key to enter in a new world where reality and fiction are mixed. Amazing and filled with original ideas, Invizimals is a irresistible game for youngest.

It's a fighter that also satisfies your OCD side. [Christmas 2009, p.112]

Unfortunately, despite many good bits, the idea behind Invizimals promises more than the reality delivers.

InviZimals is a wonderful feat of technology, and the fact that it has pretty good gameplay is an added bonus.

Invizimals isn't the most portable-friendly game, but it is easily the most impressive augmented reality game, let alone on the PSP.
  13. 75
An entertaining game for the young ones, but an entertaining distraction for the rest of us.
  14. 75
Invizimals is really cool, but it's not polished enough to be the next generation of monster battling.
  15. A decent effort that wins our applause for innovation more than the actual gameplay.

Very innovative gameplay modes. A truly unique experience, using the psp as it had an accelerometer or inclinometer is quite surprising. The Very innovative gameplay modes. A truly unique experience, using the psp as it had an accelerometer or inclinometer is quite surprising. The combat is deeper than it seems at the beginning, as it becomes more complex as you keep playing. Overall a great new experience, you should have seen the face of my children. Full Review »

It may have been just walking around your house and doing mini games, but that's all Mario Party is practically. I highly recommend this game if you like games like Pokemon. Full Review »
