  1. Beyond the already present fans of the series, anyone looking for a fun game that can be picked up, played, and put down at whim, will find what they need here.

Overall, this can be a frustration, especially once gamers realise this fact by seeing just how inaccessible some of the later courses can be. [JPN Import]

I have exactly three words for the golf snobs: unlockable trucker hats. [July 2005, p.120]
  4. Another solid entry in the series. It's nothing more than that, however, and simply porting it to the PSP with no notable additions seems a tad lazy.

Notably absent from the multiplayer options is a mode that allows you to play a multiplayer game with a single copy of the game. It's not often that you're going to get eight PSPs and eight copies of the game into the same place at once, so it's kind of odd that there's no provision for a good old-fashioned session of "pass the PSP." Shame.

It's just not worth the payoff for me anymore than beating my buddies at a real game of golf is.
  7. To me, all these unlockables don't mean very much. My guy could be wearing shades, a Speedo and a hat made out of fruit for all I care. Just hit the ball, Spanky.

extremely high replay value, is truely a classic, patiently waiting for a sequal with different course styles. reminds me of mario golf for extremely high replay value, is truely a classic, patiently waiting for a sequal with different course styles. reminds me of mario golf for the nes with better grapics. only complaint is that you don't know the wind speed per hole til after tee off.
