Pelit (Finland)A one-trick pony, but it does it well. Multiplayer options are nice, but Go! Sudoku is not necessarily a party game. [Jan 2006]
-
An excellent puzzle title that offers mixture of simple but challenging gameplay. The multiplayer options and extra downloadable content will help to keep this game in most peoples PSPs.
-
This is a game that really benefits from its electronic transformation – it is far superior to its paper and pen counterpart. And this is coming from a self-confessed techno-phobe.
-
Exactly the title that you would expect, whilst the game isn't likely to be a system seller it does offer some 1000 Sudoku puzzles and the multiplayer is a handy inclusion that sets this game apart from all the other Sudoku games out there; although it is disappointing that the gameshare feature is heavily under utilised.
-
A good choice for those who want to learn how to play the game properly and also are sick of making mistakes and not being able to rub out pen marks.
-
The wireless multiplayer options elevate it above its pen-and-paper siblings, and so does its music and visual presentation. Throw in 1,000 included challenges and downloadable puzzles and what you get is one decent little package.
-
A competent package, but due to the pervasive nature of Sudoku these days, you probably don't need to spend any money to get puzzles like this.
-
This game just doesn’t give me enough to make it worth my money.
-
Go! Sudoku may be addictive but because of the repetitious nature of the puzzles, you might wonder why it's worth forking out $50.
-
So the developers have crafted a very playable puzzle game with a decent multiplayer aspect and screwed it up with a tiny bit of bad programming. Go! Sudoku is nearly scuttled by this strange bug, which is a real shame.
-
The only real benefit I could find for buying a Sudoku game on the PSP is the ability to wirelessly download additional puzzles, free of charge.

Official Playstation 2 Magazine UKYou get Sudoku in every paper, and books of the stuff cost less than a quid, but this costs 30 pounds, making it non-essential for all but the most hardened number crunchers. [Apr 2006, p.96]
-
Official U.S. Playstation MagazineI'll stick to paper and pencil versions of sudoku until a cleaned-up sequel appears. [July 2006, p.82]
