With excellent high-level production values, superb emulation, and an easy to use multiplayer interface, Capcom Classics Collection Remixed should definitely please most retro company fans.
-
Games Master UKWe just wish Capcom would release an uber-collection across all formats instead of these half-baked efforts. [July 2006, p.81]
-
Play UKWorth the memories. [Issue 141, p.110]
-
Realizing just how damn hard Strider gets towards the end and of course just how generic the original Street Fighter game is compared to the sequel are reason enough to purchase this collection.
-
PSM MagazineThe PSP's unwieldly d-pad and screen blur hurt, too. Even with these flaws, Remixed remains a mostly nifty blast from the past. [Jun 2006, p.87]
-
Official Playstation 2 Magazine UKEven if you never play half the games on offer (and you won't), the inclusion of genuine classics means this lives up to its billing. [July 2006, p.89]
-
Compilations generally don't do well, but Capcom gives PSP owners quite a treat with the decent emulation of truly great classics.
-
The multiplayer support is a great example of local wireless multiplayer gaming done well, and if you've got friends with the game you'll have hours of entertainment ahead of you.
-
If you grew up with these games during the 80's then Capcom Classics Collection Remixed is an essential purchase, purely for nostalgic reasons but also to remember just how tough games were back then.
-
BoomtownThere is a lot of retro fun here and if you only carry one UMD with you this is as good as any to keep you entertained.
-
Unfortunately, it’s not as portable as it could be with stretched load times and no save stat, and the collection in general is not as robust as the PS2/Xbox version.
-
The original PS2 and Xbox versions of Capcom Classics Collection - which had an undeniably better selection of games - debuted at $19.99, yet this portable version is twice as expensive. We're guessing Sony's PSP publishing rules have more to do with this than Capcom's bank account does, but it sucks either way.
-
There's enough quality here to keep retro-heads entertained for some time.
-
There's simply no getting away from the fact that the irritating reshuffle of titles from the console edition has left a sizeable hole in the appeal of this compilation, and the presence of a few too many relics best left buried does little to compensate.
-
A little light on true 'classics' and over-reliant on shooters but excellently converted to PSP, which should at least delight the old-skool crowd.
-
While there are some cool view modes and the front-end is nice, you’d have to be quite a die-hard to shell out forty bucks for Final Fight, Strider, Street Fighter and a bunch of stuff no one even liked in the 80s.
-
Unfortunately, the line-up is just as likely to annoy retro fans as please them, with many of these 20 games from the late '80s offering little more than curiosity value. Some were poor-quality clones when they were originally released and today are unplayable.

Dec 23, 2017"Capcom Classics Collection Remixed" was not very good, I did not enjoy any game or caught my attention.
-
Aug 2, 2019Es una buena recopilación. El problema es que muchos de estos juegos no envejecieron bien. La escasez de los mismos también es bastante grave.
