Oct 24, 20111000 Tiny Claws is a great little game despite the occassional bugs. It should probably be played in short bursts for maximum enjoyment and the challenge of getting every gold medal, as well as high scores, means the game will last for a good few hours.

Oct 18, 2011The third hit in a row, Mediatonic! A great masterpiece of ironic-cool game play fun: kick the monsters off the islands.

Official PlayStation Magazine BeneluxJan 2, 2012In this adventure game you control Rana, a pirate that battles insects on floating platforms in the sky. The game looks a bit like classic Zelda-games, but is more about action than adventure or puzzles. Nevertheless this Mini offers a lot of gameplay for its size. [December 2011, p.100]

Games Master UKDec 17, 2011Cheap and cheerful, with nice graphics and fun gameplay. [Jan 2012, p.91]

Oct 30, 2011It is a shame that 1000 Tiny Claws is limited to the D-pad, as an analogue stick option would have improved the level of control but the game is mainly designed for the PSP and being on the move. The combat is also limited in the respect that there is no diagonal attack of function; this is a traditional horizontal and vertical fighter. Yet these are minor quibbles in what is a thoroughly enjoyable blast of gaming, best enjoyed in short bursts and one that doesn't cost the earth.
-
Oct 12, 2011Minor grievances with the finer points of combat aside, Mediatonic's latest is a handsome, challenging, laugh-out-loud funny arena-based brawler.
