Daily RadarA great solo experience that'll leave patient gamers with nothing to show for it but sore thumbs and the satisfaction of being truly, totally radical.
-
In the end, I have to say I am totally addicted to this crappy-somehow fun, totally simplistic surfing game, and I can't explain why exactly.
-
A fun game with decent gameplay, but the shortage of modes, run-of-the-mill graphics, and lack of variety prevent "Surf Riders" from being to surf games what "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" is to skateboarding games.
-
Surf Riders stinks! My only consolation to the unfortunate surfing fanatic deprived of his/her virtual wave simulation is that things aren't any better over on the PS2, where "Surfing H30" reigns supreme as king of what's bad about games. Bummer!
-
A painful aquatic encounter, though not on the same level as, say, a jellyfish in the swim trunks.
-
Sure, it sounds gnarly, but the frustrating control interface and primitive graphics make Surf Riders a wipeout.
