There are enough satisfying nuggets of 'survival horror turned "Virtua Cop" clone w/limited movement' goodness to make this odd curiosity worth playing for most, and maybe even worth owning by the "RE" fanatics.
-
Brilliant. You'll certainly be having a bit of a laugh, as well as being scared out of your pants.
-
Spank!Resident Evil fanatics will probably hate it and call it a travesty, but remove the Resident Evil tag and it's a damn good zombie shooter with a revolutionary control system.
-
AntagonistIf you're not a RE fan, don't even spend the effort to look at the back of the jewel case.
-
RES tries its best to be a fusion of two drastically different genres, and it unfortunately limits itself with difficult control and tedious gameplay.
-
CNET GamecenterThis lame first-person shooter with no visual or visceral delights is an insult to the brand name that is Resident Evil.
-
It'll provide you with about four hours maximum of campy, brainless shooting kicks. Just don't blame me for feeling dirty afterward, because you will, oh yes, you will.
-
Looking for zombie-blasting kicks? Leave this one buried.
-
The scariest thing about this game is how awful it is.
-
Daily RadarOf little interest to any gamer -- hardcore, half-dead or otherwise.
