It's a niche title, that if you're into the scooter thing you'll like. If not, it will seem a lot like a lesser version of "Grind Session." Not a prize winner, not a bad apple, just a nice little surprise for all the scooter fans out there.
-
Daily RadarThough its easy learning curve and flexible gameplay are clearly designed for the less than hardcore, it is surprisingly entertaining and good for a quick thrill.
-
A fun but easy diversion that's geared more toward the younger or casual gamer.
-
CNET GamecenterSolid, fun to play, and irritatingly addictive.
-
A mediocre title that's way too short and only slightly innovative. However, if you can't get enough of these games, the price makes a purchase a no-brainer.
-
This is a great game for Razor enthusiasts that like simple (very simple) gameplay.
-
RFS's gameplay is completely off the wall fun, and despite its quirky premise, kept me coming back for more time and time again.
-
Seasoned fans of the freestyle sports genre will whip through Razor Freestyle Scooter in an afternoon, no questions asked. It doesn't offer up any real variety in its challenges.
-
Unashamedly pitched at 6 to 15 year olds, RFS doesn't really provide enough substance for hardened gamers, although as a passing fad it works extremely well.
-
It doesn't do anything new with its variation on the trickster's mount, if indeed there's any such thing that could be done with these thrice-condemned yuppoid doomed-once-February-rolls-around widgets.
-
As bad as this game is, young scooter fans will eat it up. After all, it's got a monopoly on the scooter game market and is really simple to understand.
