AntagonistWhile the graphics tend to be blocky, with lots of texture-warping, the angular shading the artists used is damn cool.
-
Da GameboyzAlthough the graphics may not be spectacular, and the sound is less than should be expected, the game more than makes up for it's shortcomings by being undeniably addictive and fun to play.
-
Like the original Legends, the sequel features an entertaining and overall lighthearted feel, but this time with slightly more serious overtones.
-
An incredibly fun game.
-
Other than the voices though, the rest of the audio package in "Legends 2" is just vanilla-plain decent.
-
Daily RadarAwful camera control and a dated engine ensure that, as thoroughly enjoyable as Legends 2 is, the series still has a ways to go before equaling the brilliance of its two-dimensional brethren.
-
The only major gripe I have is the targeting system. You often have an enemy two feet behind you, but the game refuses to target it since it tends to only target things in front of you.
-
CNET GamecenterThere are about 15 hours of actual gameplay, and about 5 more hours if you want to pick up all the extra goodies along the way. Still, before you know it, you've finished the game.
-
A brilliant 3D world overrun by control and camera issues.
-
This game ultimately rises above average with equal parts charm and challenge, qualities that have been missing from the 2D side-scrolling titles of late.
