Daily RadarLet's start by clearing up the silly notion that Fear Effect 2 is the games equivalent of a skin flick, shall we?... Creative, deep and addicting, Retro Helix is one of the best action adventures we've ever come across.
-
Spell-binding, addictive, visually delightful.
-
Tailor-made for an older audience. It has an intriguing plot that consists of a thinking mans storyline, devious puzzles, and movie-quality voice acting.
-
Retro Helix is a fantastic game, better than its predecessor and one of the last must own games for PlayStation owners.
-
The audience of "Jerry Springer" is right: we love lesbians!
-
An excellent adult plot, cool graphics, and style to burn make this a must-have in the adventure genre.
-
Complete with a unique visual scheme, engrossing story, and vibrant characters, the effect of Retro Helix will be felt for quite some time.
-
A game that successfully blends the action, survival-horror, and role-playing genres into a single outstanding product.
-
Da GameboyzIt's just really creepy. The atmosphere created by the graphics and sound In Retro Helix is incredible.
-
Although Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix suffers from minor control problems, the amusing and entertaining storyline, as well as the impressive graphics, made me want to come back for more.
-
Total Video GamesA fantastic adventure game, (though) at certain points you may find yourself a little frustrated with the game's camera angles.
-
The sense of style and visual creativity overcomes the game's shortcomings to make it a worthwhile play.
-
A kick with its sharp visual style, crisp sounds, and thousands of tasty, violent, obscene morsels which are sure to stimulate your psychic sweet tooth. A strong game to be sure, but not the sequel it could have been.
-
Fans of the original will dig this, and fans of blood and cleavage...are advised to pick the game up without delay, but FE2's gameplay is going to turn off those who've come to expect something more from an adventure game, and I'm inclined to say its content will offend more than just canting zealots.
-
Fans of the genre will probably get their rocks off, but casual gamers will find it a big tease.
