For the true believer, it's all worthwhile when Ash cranks up his trusty chainsaw and lets loose with a hearty, "Yo, tree bitch. Let's go."
-
AntagonistThe game is, at it's best, not fun; at it's worst, it is a frustrating example of why licensed games suck.
-
It's a mystery (and a shame) why with solid survival horror games like "Nightmare Creatures" or the "Resident Evil" series out there as examples, a "can't-miss" movie license like Evil Dead couldn't have faired better.
-
Isn't worthy of "Resident Evil" comparisons.
-
Daily RadarA waste of an excellent license and a great opportunity.
-
It's an awful lot of story.
-
Had the battle sequences not been so maddeningly frustrating and frequent, Evil Dead: Hail to the King would at least weigh in as a decent Resident Evil clone, but they work to make the game almost unplayable.
-
CNET GamecenterThis "Resident Evil" wanna-be falls flat on its undead face.
